I saw the future that way as well. Back at the end of 2017, that seems like a golden age now. But we all know that ETH still has huge potential. It has suffered recently with the whole market dip, and the end of ICO-fever has obviously hit ETH harder than other coins... but the potential is still there. I am extremely confident that we will see ETH over $1k again.

With the current huge circulation of ETH, I really doubt ETH will go to $5k...
if we see Bitcoin bullish past $ 20k then it is will be a chance eth go to $5k, but if not then eth won't make it to $5k. Bitcoin price is still the determinant of the future price of Altcoins.

I think you are too risky right now. According to price data from 2017 to now, the Crypto market is in a sea of blood in the last days of the year. Ethereum is the best altcoin and will continue being valuable, however, although I value Ethereum and hold it in high esteem, yet there are some risks that are not worth taking, in my own opinion. It is quite alright to invest a huge portion of funds into Ethereum but I don't think it is wise investing everything, this is just to diversify risks. Therefore in my own opinion as well, investing 40% for Ethereum is good, while Bitcoin takes 40% and the other 20% I can spread or better still Invest in other altcoins like XLM and ADA.

Although the decision is OP, but i think it would be really bad if the OP could split the money and invest with many other coins to reduce the risk ratio. Agree that ETH is very good, but using all the money to buy it requires a reassessment. I think keeping BTC would be best at this time, 50% for bitcoin and use it for altcoin and look to invest in new projects. So i think it will ensure your assets and also reduce your risk if ETH does not meet everyone's expectations.
