Was looking to buy BTC in a hurry. Had just gotten through using that COINBASE BULLSHIT and just wanted a nice and easy transact...wait. what the fuck happened to the site...

Okay so it looks new and everything. I put in my transaction and BAM.

For some reason I have to create an account now.

So I throw in my information and get ready to process the transaction whennnnn

it tells me that it can't process my transaction at this time...

What in Zues's name has got into you bitinstant??? What did I do to deserve this?

you're lucky, it was nearly impossible to create my account.

finally i was successful and even had to call my mother to ask what she paid for a house almost 20 years ago in order to merely in, not to transact any money or add an account.

now i have an account but get only errors when trying to buy BTC.

bitinstant doesn't like money. i have been trying to give them some for almost a month but gave up

bitinstant = bitnever (as i saw someone else post)

You can always give us a try. We are hoping to have bank account integration soon.

That was actually my next plan of attack.

Your post comes at a great time because I was actually wondering how long the verification process would take.

I've been trying to get my hands on some BTC since it hit 60 and have getting all the more frantic as the price has started to come back up. I'd do local transactions but there's no one nearby me.

We have a dedicated rep for processing memberships so typically 5-15 minutes.

Reheheallyyy? That is quick.

And the Bitcoin deliveries themselves are on that same pace I presume?

As for the coinbase bullshit I was referring to...What I said was a misnomer, the coinbase SITUATION is simply not "Bitcoin". Bitcoin is a highly speculative commodity ruled by fickleness. Buying with coinbase presents an obstacle to overcome as it's hard to sometimes predict how a market will act in a week and after the first few minutes you can't rescind a payment. I find their business model slightly advantageous if one is buying buying bulk for long term, due to coinbase's convenient pricing. But as for the rest of us that need BTC...well quick, it doesn't offer the same benefit.

Bitcoins are delivered as soon as we receive payment confirmation. Typically that is 5-15minutes as well but sometimes a bank will flag the transaction and you have to call them and authorize it.

Alrighty, well I'm currently waiting for authentication now so we'll see what happens.

Also, I was sent a code via text to verify my phone number...but there's no place for the code....

Just wanted to affirm that BTCquick is the way to go! Excellent customer service and a very fast confirmation. I'm incredibly impressed. Definitely going to be my go to BTC service for awhile.
