Unfortunately, if enough people believe in something in a market, it becomes part of the market psychology reality, and you have to price that in.

Yup, major trendline breakthrough functions as a Schelling point. So it has some definite, measurable influence. However, whales can do what they want. Still, statistically speaking, breaking such a trendline is significant.
