Trying to recover Bitcointalk username

My account was compromised a while ago and haven't logged in since. Now I'm trying to recover my Bitcointalk username using the "forgot your password" but getting this message:

"Sorry, this account has not yet been approved."

What to do?

You should post this in Meta, and read Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords.
