no it was not the time yet,
Bitcoin still has not make its final move and i believe there will be another movement that will happen in the near future.
if you looked back to it a few weeks ago(if i remember it correctly) we made this kind of movement.
the price retracing so fast from its peak and then moving downward for a few days,
afterward another huge movement happened and pushed the price to around $5600,
in the next day when people thought about the dump that will happen in the next day,the price moved to the opposite and increasing from $5600 to around $7000.
do your own research and make your own strategy,
for me Bitcoin has not make its final movement yet because we're still far from the date,
also altcoin still under pressure and if you're buying it right now,it's like you're catching the knife.
be aware because everything can be happen in the next second

Is true but altcoin like ETH DASH XMR XRP LTC NEO XLM are not stupid choice becouse are strong project with a superior tecnology then BTC...
now BTC gain the lost dominance in the market but other good altcoin are not scam projoect will have future soon and i'm sure they don't lose they worth in the short time

Market Manipulation happens a lot in initially due to concentration of funds in the particular few (Also known as Whales). They do what is known as Pump and Dump.

Many Coins/ Tokens are prices relative to BTC or ETH, so relative changes in their price also affect the price of the underlying asset or token. Actually comparing ICOs which are offered against ETH or BTC with USD is unfair which happening a lot in the market right now. That is wrong measure to compare the performance of the asset as it was measured and bought using different price and currency.
