It was around 1000$ a year ago, and I'm sure there were already threads asking why bitcoin is so expensive at that time.
As said earlier, the price is fixed with buyers and sellers. If bitcoin remains above 10k$ although it encounters high tx fees at the moment means there's still people to believe in it.

yes this is a fortune because of the high market demand that makes bitcoin rise so fast and also the level of enthusiasts bitcoin very much to make bitcoin prices skyrocketed to the moon.

Although it really does a big pump compare from the past years, I still think that somewhere around 15 ~ 25% of its pump is bubble, not to mention it suddenly dump from the recent charts. I mean yes, we could compare that to a skyrocket, we know that a skyrocket is a massive object that'll lift to sky, but then not all of it is going to stay intact, it needs to disengage some of its parts in order for the remaining parts to move. So what I'm saying is that the big pump of Bitcoin is not really all of that numbers, see from around 19K its now 14K ~ 16K.

I'm not saying that it is all bubble, just some of it.

I think demand is still not the word to describe it. I think those investors or so called whales, and also those big companies that have already expanded in online, and recently have adapted Bitcoin as their medium. Because of this the price of Bitcoin suddenly gone up, to the point that it almost reached four times its price from last year.

I think that you are a bit mistaken about the use of netcoin, because the infrastructure for users is not ready yet. It's almost non-existent so that you can use Bitcoin without problems. But the fact that the demand for the crypto currency has grown very much, it really is. Perhaps because of the demand for Bitcoin, its price has risen very high.
