The Bitcoin price is so high just because Bitcoin is gonna be Number one cryptocurrency and right now also number One!
The main reason is investor..there is so many investor in bitcoin around the world..day by day btc gain lots of investor that's because the market is going to be high.so why not? if they invest a little amount and gain more than 3X within 2 or 3 months they must invest..seems btc gonna more than $20k in the middle of the 2018 !!

Bitcoin has been unbelievable expensive price because of the highly profitable platform. people are becoming dependent on this system day by day for the purpose of making a profit. That's why the price of Bitcoin is getting high nowadays.

people are getting expectation because  in past people have already got a very good profit, therefore still people are expecting that they will even now get a very good profit from bitcoin investment. i think that they are right because still bitcoin price is trading in a low price and there are more chances that its price will increase too much in near future.
