Why not? BTC currently is safer than 80% of altcoins and it is not centralised.

Since bitcoin value dictates some of the trend in cryptoworld. If could be better if you buy bitcoin. This is the #1 cryptocurrency so its good to invest to it. Bitcoin is popular but we cant deny that ethereum is on their move to steal the #1spot.
