I think you as any self-respecting good investor should have BTC and ETH in your Arsenal. In what is already the number is up to you to decide. But these two coins are the basis of the basics and a lot depends on them, so I would be in your place without hesitation acquired and the one and the other. But if your question is more clear, I would choose BTC.

Bitcoin price is reasonable to buy now, It is under value until now.

Undeniable yes, you should invest in BTC. Right now BTC is bit weaker than expected but dont forget BTC is most momentous coin among all cryptocurrencies. If you will buy BTC now and hold for few years you will definately get surprising returns on your investement. According me BTC is good choice to invest because it have much more potential than other alt coins.

if you invest 6k$ and buy 1 BTC, from that point on it shouldnt matter for you whether btc drops to 3k or rises to 9k since you cant influence the price!! but what you can do in the long run is to accumulate the amount of BTC you hold
