Newbie Problem: Change Bitcoins Lost

Hey guys,

Slowly I am losing my mind with my problem.

Initially, after receiving my Nano Ledger S, I tried to transfer all my bitcoins from my Electrum wallet to the new Nano S. The transaction was split into two addresses. Obviously one address is the "change"-address. Once the transaction was confirmed, the bitcoins from the change address did not show up in my Nano S. Only the bitcoins from the main address. I contacted the support from the Nano S. The conversation was going for like 4-5 weeks. In the end they told me it is a problem with the Electrum Wallet.

The change address and the address from my Hardware wallet is also not listed in the addresses tab in electrum.

Is there anybody here who can help?

It isn't a change address... I am about 99.99% certain that you have an Electrum "2FA" wallet (there should be text that says [2fa] in the titlebar)... am I correct?

What that 0.01 BTC charge is... is the payment to TrustedCoin to prepay for 100 2FA "credits". If you click the little blue shield in the bottom right corner of the Electrum window, you'll see you now have 99 credits left (your transaction would have used 1 credit):

NOTE: The TrustedCoin fees recently changed... So, that is the reason you got charged 0.01 and not 0.005... it used to be 0.01 for 100 credits.
