Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

If just a small percentage of people would get behind a lot of his ideas they would work.  I think people need to look at some of the projects he brings up and see if any skill sets they have could be of use.

Edit: I have 1 btc for 4 on Monday, Fourth of July, call it a hunch.

A lot of the time I am just throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks.

However, I am very serious about EasyCoin. Expect more in the coming days.

Sweet! What do I win? A brand new car, or the new title of "Atlas' Stalker"?

I think people should stop caring until he actually finishes one.

I was just trying to inject some levity into an increasingly boring Bitcoin market. Although I disagree strongly with Atlas' end-of-days ideology, he seems to genuinely care about Bitcoin and want to do something other than just make money speculating on it.

I beg to differ, the "quick get a big ad on a magazine for thousands of dollars" is just trying to boost the speculation worth of his bitcoins . It won't help the economy or long term use of  bitcoins at all.

This market won't be able to function. Atlas will ask his friend to bet on the future, and he always wins.

Getting support for a project can be difficult in this very stubborn community. But you have to keep your god damn head up, and not let the haters get to you. The haters will always be there, and they will try everything to destroy you. But you must stand up and be a MAN. Stand up to your enemy's and punch them back if you have to, but in the end you will win, because winners always laugh last. This community has to laugh last, and if people aren't sticking around for that, then CHO, ASTA LUEGO , NO ONE CARES.

We have already find some actionists carried out real project for the bitcoin community, those people never struggled with these "being a man" or "enemy" or "laugh stuff".

They just do the job, and finish it. When the product came to the community, everybody cheers. Only those man are always claiming he is going to do something but little completed is getting laughed at.
