Hello Bitcointalk community! Up for sale is a used Lumatek 1000w Digital Ballast. I currently have 3 of these (digi ballast) but I'm only looking to sell one of them at the moment (looking to purchase a led fixture from a friend). Been used approximately 3 months, after which I decided to run dual 600w instead of a single 1000 watter (20% more energy, 40% more yield, and much better heat dissipation!) Here are some specifications on the unit:
Dimmable. Allows light brightness to be turned down, or turned up to the Super Lumens setting.
Multi-Wattage (read instructions before use). Ballast powers a 1000 watt, 750 watt, or 600 watt bulb.
Operate both metal halide (MH) and high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. No changes are required.
Up to 20% MORE LUMENS; faster growth, bigger harvests.
Unique graduated fin design for more efficient cooling. No cooling fan necessary means fewer moving parts.
3 years full + 2 years no hassle warranty.
Internal resin coating protects components for a long life.
External breaker system protects against power surges.
Generator compatible.
Cuts off when a short is detected. For ultimate safety.
Completely silent.
Comes as seen (plus a box, of course, but not the original one). I insist on using escrow; I'll submit tracking number to escrow after escrow confirms payment. Don't really have any recommendations as far as which escrow service but I'm sure a trusted older head will step forward and offer a suggestion/service.
My initial price is BTC2.15 . You will be responsible for shipping costs (BTC0.2) and I'll cover insurance. Price is negotiable, but not by a whole lot. I'm not an asshole, but make reasonable offers. The unit is practically new, and it retails around $250. You do the math. Total for you is BTC2.35. Small price for the ability to generate an indoor crop year round!
I have a 1000w HPS bulb available also. PlantMax, its unused (the arc is completely clean, I'll take pictures if someone is intersted in it too.)
You are doing me a favor because I'd be converting the fiat into btc, saving me an expensive, BitInstant involved step,.
Even though I'm pretty new myself, I'd prefer to do business with an older member of the community that has a proven track record of successful trades. With that being said, it'd be pretty hypocritical for me to outright refuse new guys, so we can hash it out on a case by case basis if we need to.
