Like almost everyone above you say you have to start with an amount of money that will not affect your life if you lose it. My advice is to start with a small amount and save it for a while. This is because at first, if you don't have experience.

I think the best option is to invest $ 500.  You can invest in reliable coins (BTC and ETH) and in a few months make a profit.

I think everything relies upon the amount you need to win at last, comprehend that this sort of action is extremely hazardous and how it can bring cash, it can not bring anything and you will basically lose all your cash.

I propose to start a small trade first, because this industry is very risky. To make accumulation, and to gain experience .

I start from zero and collect giveaway from my friend, there is no limit to starting trading but if you want to try starting at $ 100 I think that's enough until you are ready to increase capital.

To start a crypto trading, the ideal amount of money cannot be recommended, it is enough to determine a number for each .

The right question is what are your targets?

The more you invest, the faster you can expect big gains (but you can lose everything too). By investing little you can still expect good profits, but it will probably take much longer (unless you are lucky or really good  Grin)

I think it's especially important to respect the basic rule of trading, invest only money that you are willing to lose (unfortunately I think many people forget this rule because attracted by profit  Embarrassed)

The advantages of crypto currency is that you can start trading and investment activities with almost any amount. But you have to accept that the first deposit you will lose.

That initial deposit is what makes a coin add to your list. There is a lot of people that pour in a lot of money but only make a little bit back.

Their is no fixed amount one can start with. What you need to do is to define your strategy and get appropriate knowledge in what you are doing or what you are investing into. One should always start small before growing big.

It all depends on your goals. If you want to try margin trading then you need between $1000 and $10000. To my mind this is good start amount.

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
It all depends on you and also how is your plan of investment, I would recommend to invest just the money you won't need in the near future, just your spared money, and focus on long term profits in order to avoid the fluctuations.

Many altcoin have price below 1 cent and if we are using $100, we can get a lot coin. But before we buying a coin/token, we should consider their project and their developers team because research is important thing before we make investment. Many altcoin with good project and working product in market have low price and have potention to make big profits in next several months

I do not know your financial situation.  I advise you to invest the amount that you are not afraid to lose.  This is the best choice.

I would start with what you can afford to lose first off.  There is no guarantees and the losses can be painful.  I would take a percentage of my monthly income and get in slowly to insure you don't hit any peaks while getting in.  This can save much drama for beginners.

I would recommend the following: spend for your altcoins and Bitcoins 50% of your budget. Leave the money for living and never lend anything! You must be ready for all situations, even for the fall of alts’ price.
yeah this one really a good advise for an individual who will going to start an investment here in cryptocurrency. I do believe that it should be bitcoin to invest with and not anything else though there are good altcoins in the market that will relatively will let you have the maximum potentials to profit. High potential profit but high risk also.

Only invest what you can afford to lose. Investing in crypto may take a big risk but it will also give you a big profit if you will work hard and understand its process.
