The advantages of crypto currency is that you can start trading and investment activities with almost any amount. But you have to accept that the first deposit you will lose.

Now, the prices for many really good and promising altcoins are so low, that you can start almost with any sum of money. For instance, if you have a hundred, you can pay attention to Cardano, and Stellar.

I think that you should have at least 500 $ to get started but this sum is not exact, perhaps, you can have less money to get started in the crypto market and earn, just try!

No matter how much money you have at the beginning of your journey, the main thing is that you have the knowledge! From the very beginning, I would advise you to invest exclusively in your education, otherwise you will lose all your money, no matter how much you have it...

How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
I think it depends on how much you can afford to lose
also you can start small, invest in some good coins and play with them until you get a decent profit

The best advice I can give you is to start investing in the value that won't hurt you financially even if it's lost. That way, you can either gain or lose nothing at all. We all wanted to earn quickly like any other people but in the crypto world, everything should be done patiently.

I think you can start joining cryptocurrency with your minimum money or the money that you can throw away at the point. Let's say a hundred bucks or less that couldn't hurt your butt.
Or, if you have no money then start joining airdrops or campaigns.

Not less than one thousand dollars. This is to count on a good profit. But you can start trading with only one hundred dollars. Practice, see how the crypto market works and gain experience.

Exchanging is a hazardous venture. It is smarter to begin with a sum that won't hurt your financial plan. You can begin little as starting venture and progressively increment by including the measure of pay you got from your underlying speculation. Benefits are made by timing buys when the cost is low and afterward offering when the cost is high. Simply figure out how to conjecture.

I think the first thing that you should know that there is a no ideal amount of money to start trading. You can practice with a small money first. And then you can put more money. It’s a safe way.

I think you should start by understanding the cryptocurrency, not the amount of money invested. For a new person, you have too much knowledge to learn. Don't invest blindly.

There is no minimum or maximum, but you have to be sure you are still alive if you lose your money. So make sure to not invest all your hard earned money into altcoins.  Lips sealed Lips sealed

It depends on how much you know about the industry. If you are not very familiar with this market, then I suggest that you can invest a small amount in order to avoid causing a lot of losses. Of course, if you know enough about this market, then you can invest as much as you like.

It's depend on how much you can effort to loss. Don't invest with all your money. Smart person always make a money management before invest. Let say you have $5k free money in your hand. Invest only 25 till 50 percent of that. The rest is for backup when your investment is not gain profit yet.

If you want to start now for day trading then you could start at least $100 or less. It's up  to you what coins you buy and trade. Once you have enough experience and capital, you can invest more and not have to think about the money you currently have.

Agreed. But still, if a person has experience or a head on his shoulders, for a good income, I think it is better to start with 10K, it will be the optimal amount that would not have the need for money.

as for me when I started, I start with 750vl dollar. But If I were you, I would start at a little budget. Just invest what you could afford to lose these days. The first time that I've invested in an ICO was $0.7 each from digital Crypto and dragoin  @4dollar each. Watch closely and invest wisely.

You can start in low capital if you are a beginner, but the best capital is the capital that are not risky to you, and you should research for the good and potential coin first cause trading is not easy if you have a shitcoin in your assets I think you should start trade with a coin bitcoin.
