I don't think that there is any particular ideal number that will be perfect to start better trade , but still here I would like to suggest you that you should start with the very small amount maximum $100 because the main reason behind this thing is that you should not expect for the big , because at the very first step we need to understand that how the system of buy sell and market up down works .
The main thing in this field is the understanding , most of the times when we see that to buy at low and sell at high is very easy but that remain not same in actual because of the market volume and volatility , so same problems results into big problem because after that you will Handel your buy sell for the cryptocurrency with high amount of money .

I think it is better to start with less capital when we invest  in crypto because investing it is very risky due to its volatility market behavior. Having $1000 to invest are pretty enough to start with and we should be careful in chosing ICO to invest to, and as much ss possible those with good intentions and useful to the community.
