Even if it was possible. What would you win in competitition with GPUs/ASICS and what would you spend?

If you're asking about bitcoin, forget it. It's never going to be worth your time and money. Perhaps it could be possible to mine some very unknown altcoins (not sure), but again, why bother when you can do the same thing with a computer?

Of course it is possible, however you will end up damaging/breaking your phone if you do it non stop, and I doubt that you will get any amount of satoshi by doing that in a whole day, even if you use android phone that have the best specs, because mobile devices have weaker CPU and GPU and it is not made to function like ASIC hardwares that is more capable in performing a huge number of calculations. That is why there is no reason to use smartphones for mining, If you are interested on making profit in Bitcoin mining you should invest big amount of money buying ASIC mining hardwares.

it could be if you want to, but if you use a smartphone every day without stopping it will last a long time, so if you want to be a good money miner, use good equipment also to get a better one.

Phone CPU and GPU strength relative to the computer is really weaker than ridiculous. But I do not think cell phones can mine, there are several altcoin is specifically for mobile mining, such as LMC and GOOC. However, the market value is very low, but there is no need for participation.

I don't think its possible neither a good idea. How much computation could your android do, and how much heat can it resist if your going to mine 24/7? Or even lets say it is possible, how long would your android last before it bricks itself? then once it has been bricked, how are you going to recover your bitcoins? You know man, sometimes you gotta be NERD. peace out!

yes, I think it can be done, but its content will be small. I am better off mining with PC mining tools, therefore the results are promising and bigger.

You can not mine bitcoin with android phone, you should mine profitable altcoins and exchange them for bitcoin. go to minergate.com and find the coins to mine.

im doing it non stop on my old android phone (samsung j2) and so far my device is still in a good shape and its still running fine without any problems due to non stop browser mining, by the way im using freebitco's browser mining. though im only doing it just for fun and not to make a profit at all or hoping to become millionaire someday just by doing this insane idea. it is true no possible mining on the phone ?
You can not mine bitcoin with android phone, you should rather mine profitable altcoins and exchange them for bitcoin. why not? just so you know , i already tried and do it without any problems but then again it is not really profitable because the specs of my phone is not that powerful. im actually mining an altcoin which is monero coin but they automatically converted it to bitcoin when i recieved my payout.

I think it can be done, but it takes some telephone to do it. and certainly with the capacity of ram and memory must be great.

I think the use of mobile phone mining is ridiculous, because it is very clear that there is no way to calculate capacity of mobile phone and PC is compared, and the bitcoin why all the love, because it is through the whole network is verified. It has been recognized by everyone.

Mining on android smartphone is possible but not worth the time. There are two ways through which a person can mine on a smartphone. 1. Using apps that are able to mine cryptocurrency on the smartphone using its processor 2. Using multiple smartphones to build a mining rig and then mining cryptocurrencies analyzing it on a PC.
The first case is useless and won't give you any profits for the time you spend on it. It will also use most of your phone's power and will make it more prone to short circuit and a corrupt SoC. Apart from this there are only 1 or 2 crypto currencies that are smartphone mineable.
The second case is a little bit better than the first one and can generate smaller profits but then it is not match to GPUs and ASICs. This strategy was once used by Samsung where it use 100 samsung galaxies to build a mining rig to mine cryptos. But it is better to buy some GPUs and build a rig than to build a rig out of smartphones. If you have many smartphones lying around then that's a different thing.

it is true no possible mining on the phone ?
It is possible but there is no use of doin bitcoin mining with android because rewards will be very very less and your device will damage for the continious usage, first you need to understand the basic of mining we need powerful cpu to get the rewards so your android processor can't compete with other super fast computers.

with my little knowledge on mining, I believe, there's no such powerful mobile with a powerful processing unit to compete with other minors.

I wouldn't put my time and energy into mining with an android phone, not too mention the tiny hash but you will also ruin your phone's hardware and battery. it is like asking about possibility of cooking meet with a matchstick instead of using the stove! you may be able to do it but you wold have to burn a million matches as fast as you can!

You can do mining on your android phone or mobile phone but do not expect that you will get the same amount of coins compared those who are using powerful devices and processors for mining. I think it is much better to say that you will never get to the level of profit and gains that they able to mine. Mobile phones' processors are way too much weaker compared to what is being used regularly for mining that getting even a part of a coin will be very very hard to mine and you'll only damage your device in the process.

I think the use of mobile phone is very difficult to succeed. First of all, an encrypted currency must be verified by network consensus. Then it will have great value if the network consensus is verified. If the cell phone is very low, it will not generate valuable coins. If it is to let Android mobile phone system common mining, there is no problem, do a simple POS to know, there is force of the miners is very necessary for the maintenance of the whole network, then the mobile phone can do it?

it is true no possible mining on the phone ?
It is possible but I think there will be a great problem since the operating system of cellphone is too far from computers, specially those computers that packed up by intensively high system. I am sure that cellphones can't be a reliable source when it comes in mining. It's better to have PC rather than using of android phones.
