Yeah, it can be possible at any time. Because some countries are banned bitcoin for their policies and more than that it is untraceable so this can be used for crime or other illegal activities.
As far as it cannot be happen right now it will be take long time. The reason for that comparing to initial stage of crypto there are few members only was used it. But now, in my assumption maximum 70 percent of people may using this currency so i guess it may take some long period.

Corrupt Governments tend to ban Bitcoin and other Cryptos since they can't be regulated which means they can't gain anything out of them.

Absolutely the government can banned bitcoin anytime if they strickly prohibited any kinds of bitcoin-related activities like exchanging against fiat currencies and any legal issues it may trespassed.

I don't think you can ban bitcoin that easily because currently there is no law to stop someone from buying a digital stuff and bitcoins comes in that category but maybe in future, there will be a law (not sure). Even if the bitcoin is banned you can easily access your wallet using a VPN.
I think they wouldn't create laws to ban bitcoin. They can make more strict regulations at most, if you ask me. And this follows little problems in bitcoin. China made regulations about bitcoin if I'm not wrong. I think no and there is no need to ban bitcoin countries have made bitcoin legal and now some banks also start accepted bitcoin because bitcoin is a digital currency and its work is here to change a life of people bitcoin also reduce un employment in many country so countries need bitcoin for their economy so I think rather than to ban bitcoin we must support bitcoin and all countries make bitcoin legal because its helping humanity.

Good luck banning something without regulation. Governments and banks can do everything at their will, but regardless of their efforts, nothing will be able to fully take it offline. Maybe a global EMP lol

Legally of course the government can ban bitcoin, but practically... I have no idea how to do it. The government can do so it will be difficult to buy, it is probably the best version of the regulation.

People in China could buy bitcoins in yuan, sell them on an American exchange, and then withdraw the sum in dollars. In late 2013 Chinese authorities struck back, banning financial services companies from dealing with Bitcoin exchanges.
Talking on this topic is good, But I think it does not effect the bitcoin ti ban in a country. Because the people of that country will be use bitcoin and they will make invest due to the main qualities of the bitcoin such as bitcoin provide them a high profit in a very short time. bitcoin provide them a high security of their invest. Bitcoin provide them a very cheap tax transfer and receiving process. As we can see the China ban the bitcoin but the people of the China are still using the bitcoin.

Bitcoin is being banned because there is less knowledge about it and people must be knowledgeable about it so they know what it is about. Bitcoin is banned because some users might be abusive on how to use it and some are affected by their movements which is creating a violent reaction for bitcoin.

Bitcoin can be banned in some other countries or local places with proper ruling of law. But for a country that doesn't decide about bitcoin yet then that's still a good one for them to keep on using bitcoin but when they understand that bitcoin is a big thing, they'll get too serious about it by regulating or either banning it.

in my opinion it can not be banned. bitcoin is the most popular digital currency which runs peer to peer and there is no third party involved it.so it is almost impossible to ban and control.so don't worry about bitcoin ban just go ahead with it and enjoy to earn bitcoin.

Yes I think bitcoins can be banned but for that all the countries should be banning bitcoins. I don't think anything like that would be happening though, there are some countries where bitcoins are not legal. If more number of countries do such with bitcoin it surely will affect the value of bitcoins. I don't think it will completely stop after that, it's value might start falling.

We do not know if the bitcoin will be ban. Bitcoin has been around the fringes of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining prominence as an alternative asset class. Can the government of any major country step in and do the unthinkable

Can Bitcoin be ban?
Government like the China's does not ban bitcoin itself but rather the products and services registered legally to them from accepting bitcoin in the market. They also discourage their people to avoid from taking part with it. Even mininal, it greatly affected the overall PR of bitcoin and cryptocurrency itself.

I think bitcoin will not be completely banned because many companies are using bitcoin and people have also used bitcoin as a source of income. I think that can be forbidden is to make bitcoin as a means of payment like in my country, in my country can not use bitcoin as a means of payment, which may be for payment is real money.

It is already banned in few countries. So, it woundn't be a surprise if bitcoin got banned in more countries where it is already legal. But the thing is, bitcoin is a decentralized currency even if it is banned, there's nothing the government can do about it. But if you are thinking about "globally ban", then I think that would not happen. Cause different country has different policies. Just because of a handful of countries oppose, bitcoin would not be banned. It has grown much bigger now.
