Bitcoin has the best cryptocurrency growth and will be very beneficial. But ethereum is more stable and the price is also low

I'm sure that if you invest in the ETH at this time you will never be at a loss. invest in Bitcoin this point quite sensitive. However if long-term investment Bitcoin is still the top choice

Hi, I feel bitcoin is too expensive to invest in atm, i was close to buying 5BTC back in September but thought it was expensive then (what a mistake)
I know it could still rise a lot more but with what i have available to invest, isn't gonna be life changing for me.
So I'm looking to invest and hodl altcoins and a lot of people seem to have faith in ETH even though the network had had problems recently.
Anyone think it still has good potential to rise a lot?
What a very tragic mistake. However, it's in the past now and it does not matter anymore. The things that matter now is what you would invest in. BTC, in my part, is still profitable to invest in. You thought twice about investing in Bitcoin then because it was expensive then why would you think twice again because of the price. Bitcoin's direction is upward and you have to remember that. Ethereum could be a good option and I personally like ETH as well. BCH is also promising today. I am pretty interested in buying BCH now than any other cryptocurrency (except BTC of course). If you are firm about ETH then go for it. ETH has a great potential and it might go even higher as well. i know but im sure most people have regrets with crypto and im sure most people who had BTC from last year would have sold at around $4k well done to those who didn't though

Neither of them were invented as the investment options, they were invented as an alternate currency free from the governments and banks.
As cryptocurrencies are free from the governments and banks, no one decides the price, it is all demand and supply. Obviously, coin with high demand will give high return in a long run.

It would have been so good if you have bought the bitcoin in September. Not an issue now. Checked the ETH value now in coinmarketcap.com. There has been a good growth since March 2017. Though there are ups and downs in price value, a standard and a healthy growth is seen. Go ahead and invest in them. All other altcoins as well have good growth as like ETH and BTC. All the best.

Bitcoin currently sits at the top of all the crypto currencies with a volume of 241 billion$ and second in the race is Ethereum with a total volume of 44 billion $. Both the coins will keep growing more in price both have the potential to grow even more. But as Bitcoin has already reached such a high price buying a good amount ogbit would be quite expensive whereas it is not the same for ethereum. So I would invest in both the coins deciding one among both is difficult.

Well, Etherum is the second most popular cryptocurrency, after bitcoin. I like diversifying my stash and etherum is a great way of increasing it as well. I prioritize bitcoin investments, but I also plan on expanding and including etherum in it. The anwser is a question, do you want to diversify or not? Do you want possibly more cash combined in the end? Then invest both in etherum and bitcoin.

Exactly, both Ethereum and Bitcoin is good to invest, but like what said bitcoin is the best when it comes to gain a profit. And for Ethereum is a good for long term hold or investment.

Sounds like to me that you have ~$20k to invest. Long term holding will be the key for you. Try to forget about the news and everything like that and check back in a years time to see your profits. As for which coin to invest in, since you have a good amount of capital, why not split 50/50 in both BTC and ETH? They're both great coins with a strong foundation so you know they're not going anywhere.

If I were you, I would invest directly in Bitcoin. I would say that Bitcoin value will increase faster than Ethereum. Ethereum is interesting because of its token support. However, there were many scam ICOs this year and many people lost their money. Also, if you were interested in investing in ICOs, you have to keep in mind that it can take a few months before you will get your money back. Not to mention the profit.

Investing in a particular coin isn't what matters. What actually matters is investing, any coin whatsoever. Investing in any of the coins will surely bring profits so I'd suggest you try out both of them. You may split ur capital into two and hold for a while, as you know bitcoin is already high and Ethereum has the potential to go higher. In this way, you will know which coin to go for probably after 3 months.

Ethereum is very potential in my opinion, although few days there is a problem with ethereum network. there are still many ICOs running under the ethereum network. it's hard to guess, but I'm sure ethereum will touch $ 1000 in the near future. besides ethereum if you want to invest i suggest LTC good choice. the potential to go up to $ 400 is possible at the beginning of 2018. if you want to invest in bitcoin for now is not too late, but the price is already very high, it takes a lot of capital to invest in bitcoin if you look at the current price. But Bitcoin is the best investment...

I would recommend you to invest 75% of your money into Ethereum, and 25% into Bitcoin. Bitcoin's price is already too high, and it's not suitable for small investors. But Ethereum is still not that high, and can make you some great profits within a year. Many people think that its smart decision to Buy Bitcoin at 18-20k$, but those people are just like the crowd who speak what others are speaking. Bitcoin is feature rich and it is accepted in more places than Ethereum, but if your main motive is investing than Ethereum is more profitable than Bitcoin in that sense. Many investors believe that Ethereum will reach 1200$ within a year, and if that happens then you will get more than 100% profits. For example if you put 10k$ into Ethereum and it reaches 1200$ peak, then you will have made more than 21k$ within a year.

I'd go Eth in your case. It will boom next year, and you will have relatively 'much'. Btc will rise higher, but crash harder. (I'm a noob in this world, this is all gut feeling. Could be talking a load of shit, as any fortuneteller)

Why bitcoin or ethereum? Should include Litecoin in for a better comparison. LTC grew pretty well these days.

That's a hard decision, though! Bitcoin in itself a very profitable investment option. But the price, you see, is very high and is expected to reach $30k by the end of 2k17. And as far as ethereum is concerned, it also has a potential to reach $1k. Comparatively, ethereum is easy to buy because of lower price. You can invest some of your money in btc and some in ETH. That would help because both the options are lucrative and have vast potential to rise in near future.
I think it is an easy decision, for portfolio balance you should have both ETH and BTC.
