ETH is my choice. There is no doubt that it is one of the biggest coin which has own value - Smart contract. So investing in it never makes you lose

You just picked two coins which are the most confident to just invest or do smth with them cause their price will always be bigger than in a moment when you invest. But for me btc will always be better cause its price will have bigger pumps than eth.

Better go with both because one of the coins is a loose cannon that rewards well when its time for a bull run and the other coin is one of those that is stable and doesn't give much worry to an investor and could play a major role in crypto adoption

The ethereum in my opinion is more attractive for investment than bitcoin. Bitcoin is too unstable.  Smiley

Of course bitcoin is more better to choose instead of choosing ethereum.
Bitcoin is the number one electronic coin which tells them that they are the only coin can dominate in the whole world. Aside from that the services and security provided by bitcoin is way more better than ethereum to be exact.

Hi,
I feel bitcoin is too expensive to invest in atm, i was close to buying 5BTC back in September but thought it was expensive then (what a mistake)

I know it could still rise a lot more but with what i have available to invest, isn't gonna be life changing for me.

So I'm looking to invest and hodl altcoins and a lot of people seem to have faith in ETH even though the network had had problems recently.

Anyone think it still has good potential to rise a lot?

I think both coin have high potential to grow in the future but just like you said that you will not get rich just by holding bitcoin since the price is very high so i think better to invest in etherium if you want much more profit.

recently a lot of people are switching from Bitcoin to ethereum but yet I think this causes the ETH network to become overloaded making it difficult for us to make transactions.

Well, at the moment, i think that Ethereum is much more better than bitcoin, and in fact, it is increasing much more faster than bitcoin. But came on, we all know that bitcoin will always be the best coin, doesnt matter what.

Need to keep and hold both coins Smiley New technology - change old technology but ETH not have max Supply and BTC is first cripto coin.
Finally, Lightning Network technology(upgrade Bitcoin) can good increase BTC

Smart contrats better than Bitcoin and Ethereum's market cap lower than Bitcoin. In the future, Ethereum will be valued much more.

Between BTC and ETH I would choose ETH.
ETH is rising , and BTC is staying in the same place - market cap.

If you can't afford to invest in atleast one bitcoin i suggest go for ethereum since you can't get the 100% gain if you just bought a fraction of it that is why  altcoin are the most effective way of earning in cryptocurrency.

I think Ethereum is more trustable. The ETH price keep rising and never go down. Just like bitcoin in 2017. Now BTC price is keep staying the same but ETH is going high and high without stopping. So i will take ETH.

IMHO, ETH has much more going for it due to its ability to launch your own coins and apps on its platform. But it's always prudent to diversify and BTC will probably always have a place as (at least) the funding currency for alts.

for now, if I have capital for investment, I will choose ethereum (ETH). there is news there will be hardfork (HF) ethereum (ETH) on 19 January, I think the price of ethereum will rise ahead of HF later.

Bitcoin is good but ethereum is better right now.  Buy ethereum and bitcoin cause next month they will surely go up. Bitcoin might go back to $20k and ethereun will reach the new ath.

What makes you say that? Do you have anything to back that up?

I agree that ETH will continue to steal market share from BTC and therefore cause BTC prices to decrease, but to say it will hit all time highs without anything to back it up is just absurd. Also, there's no way BTC will reach 20k$ in the next month.
