Neither BTC nor ETH in my opinion. More interesting ones around... I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. If compared, Bitcoin and ETH still better bitcoin very far. Because hold bitcoin have higher chance to get profit in future. That is why a lot of people will prefer to hold bitcoin instead of ethereum. But there are people who prefer in Ethereum too.

I feel bitcoin is too expensive to invest in atm, i was close to buying 5BTC back in September but thought it was expensive then (what a mistake)

I know it could still rise a lot more but with what i have available to invest, isn't gonna be life changing for me.

So I'm looking to invest and hodl altcoins and a lot of people seem to have faith in ETH even though the network had had problems recently.

Anyone think it still has good potential to rise a lot?

I think ethereum one of the best coins which can bring good profit. It is nearly impossible to guess when to make investment in crypto, but in my opinion, it is a very suitable time for thinking about eth.

hmm I think you have to invest in all of those coins, because ethereum and bitcoin have the same great potential.
I suggest you invest 70% in ethereum and 30% bitcoin because I also think ethereum is still young and it will potentially increase 3x / 4x again

I agree to invest both these two coins. But somehow I prefer to put more in bitcoin, not in ethereum. This may be better because the chance of getting up is higher if we look at this case historically. Or at least if you want to stay at this decision, I suggest you to add 10% for bitcoin, so it means 40% for bitcoin and 60% for ethereum.
