Doesnt matter which one really. You will get about the same hashrate for each. Also this is the Bitcoin section of the forum and if you are ming Butcoin with GPUs then you are years too late. If you are mining a different coin then this post should have been asked in the “Altcoins” section of the forum

i was planning to give 1.800 euros to buy 6x palit or any other 1060 brand
if i buy the 1070ti the max cards for 1.800 euros will be 4x
u think the 4x 1070ti is better than the 6x 1060? because i have read that atm the 1060 is the best value for money

cryptonight = 450 vs 690 neoscrypt = 500 vs 1000
So if you run Cryptonight hashing, the four 1070 cards will produce 900 more hashes vs six 1060 cards if you run Neoscrypt hashing, the four 1070 cards will produce 1000 more hashes vs six 1060 cards
So yes, its better to run four 1070 ti cards than six 1060 cards!!!!!

Zotac 1070 ti runs cool enough, if you set it for efficient mining - margin if you push it though, and I don't believe they have Ball Bearing fans = short fan lifetime.
That Asus blower card DOES have a ball-bearing fan, but the cooling would be a lot better if they got rid of that bloody DVI connector that blocks almost half of the airflow space.

have you ruled out AMD cards completely? currently RX480/580/570 will get you around 22 Mh/s EThash or 700 H/s cryptonight so significantly more than the Nvidia ones for cheaper.... I do understand some people are "just Nvidia" for some reason

Hey Quintleo The zotacs AMP extreme does have dual ball bearing fans, it seems that the AMP version doesn't "The Zotac 1070 Ti AMP Extreme, the largest of the three new GPUs, features one of Zotac's massive proprietary triple-slot IceStorm coolers equipped with three 90mm dual-ball bearing EKO fans embedded into a metal “Carbon Exoarmor” fan shroud" The Zotac 1070 Ti AMP edition features a scaled down version of the IceStorm cooler. This dual-slot direct copper contact heatsink is slightly smaller than the AMP Extreme version and utilizes two large 100mm fans to cool the copper heatpipe / aluminum fin assembly. This GPU also features a standard full-cover backplate. source : http://www.tomshardware.com/news/zotac-geforce-gtx-1070ti,35782.htmlI would also recommend the Zotac's extreme, for the very nice cooling system, they've also a warranty of 5years if you register the product, versus the 3years of the Asus, that said they're both extremely well built cards. One thing to consider also, is that the Zotac amp extreme need 2x8pin PCI-E power connector, where the Asus A8G doesn't, should be taken in consideration when building the rig.

The "need 2 x 8-pin" part is why I'm moving away from the Aorus towards the EVGA SC, if I buy any more 1080 ti cards.
The Asus blower card I have was bought on sale VERY cheap, or I wouldn't have it.
I had seen mentions about the Zotac Amp Extreme line using "EKP ball bearing fans" or some such, the real question is about the REST of their cards.

I do understand some people are "just Nvidia" for some reason I prefer nvidia for reselling reasons and the less power consumption I do had ATI in the past but when i moved to nvidia just for a try then it was no turning back, nvidia = quality (that was on the gaming part, but still i value more the nvidia).

My issue with the AMD Polaris-based cards is that the drivers on LINUX are primitive and the interface is JUNK - you can set fan speeds and clock, but I've yet to find any way to set power limit using AMDGPU-PRO drivers at all, so forget about EFFICIENT mining unless you subject yourself to the much lower stability level of Windows.
The state of drivers in Windows is ... not nearly as bad but still not a real happy one, since the blockchain drivers FLAT OUT DON'T WORK IN 7, I refuse to suffer through trying to make 8 work ever again with it's UNUSABLE INTERFACE, and 10 is very unstable buggy junk at this point and an ACTIVE pain to set up to get it to not autoupdate your stuff and BREAK everything if the only Windows 10 you have is Home ("free Windows 10" offer ran out and was an UPGRADE offer anyway when you looked at the fine print).
I haven't had the time yet to check on how well the recent "blockchain support added to the regular drivers" versions work with 7 - IF at all - but I got to the point early this year that I refuse to even LOOK at doing another Windows 10 installation for any reason, the result is NOT worth the pain and hassle.
If someone can point me to "how to set power limits on LINUX under AMDGPU-PRO" I'd be VERY happy - I've spent HOURS searching with no working answer found.
