So why the hell arent we on an exchange yet?  Feel like I've been wasting my hashing power.  They just added 3 lame ass coins to the exchange. Still no CGB.  Coin announcement for casinon coin was 4 DAYS AGO, yet its on Cryptsy... Again... No CGB.

I would not be surprised if we do not see CGB added until after the subsidy halves. As soon as CGB hits Cryptsy, the difficulty will skyrocket from the attention. I do not think you are wasting your hashing power. You are getting the max subsidy at an easy difficulty. Enjoy and take advantage. If you have more than your fill, please PM me. I will gladly pay for what you mine (cost of power + a percentage to you). Subsidy halving should occur ~ July 31st.

As to which coins are added and when, I can not speculate. Although I must admit that I am puzzled by the CSC leapfrog the most.

Bitjohn mentioned volume is a major factor.  So given CGB rarity, we need to mine more to get potential volume that Cryptsy will find attractive.  In the meantime, Elambert is correct.  You are getting max subsidy with much less competition.  And devs like me will slowly begin to incorporate CGB into their projects.

I do not think volume is the issue here. There are 360k+ CGB in circulation. This is more than some of the coins listed there...

The red text added to the front page that says "hash rate broadcaster" is that for a bounty, for something that says the network hash rate?

You can fake that up but it's going to be even more wildly inaccurate than the ones in the wallets that provide it.  I understand that a couple of the coin devs have tried to improve on that but in the end, it's a guess based on some pretty simple math, and the way that proof of work is done it always has to work around a certain amount of randomness.

When you opt to include proof of stake it's not even really a relevant statistic. which is why it's stripped from those wallets.

Those are the reasons that it's not already on my site. For 100 CGB I'll write a script that divides block time by difficulty and comes up with an estimated hash rate.

As long as you understand that it's a job writing fiction.  Otherwise, I'd have to feel guilty.

EDIT: I just noticed you announcing the addition on page 8, too.  I'm pretty sure that's what you mean right?

I have sent a 100 CGB donation to Coinflip. Please provide me your address so you can claim the 75 CGB bounty for your pool. Thanks!

You are correct my friend regarding the request for network hashrate. I had not realized the difficulties you have outlined as I have not had the opportunity to look into this, hence the bounty. If this truly provides a statistic that is irrelevant, then I obviously do not want to proceed. This came about via request of a fan of CGB who identified a similar service provided by CAP. I mentioned this briefly to Mullick, but again, have not had the time to investigate. Have you looked at the broadcaster that CAP allegedly has?

Tried the default map port upnp and tried connecting via socks proxy...nothing Sad

Nope but if I get any time I'll check it out today.

It's not difficult to mock something up, but I wonder how to add any accuracy.  Even the wallet function is a best guess based on some averages in POW wallets, and some of those are known to be pretty inaccurate, especially at higher diffs.

I just got up but I'll look into it too - if they have sorted out something that doesn't feel deceptive, I wold like to add this to my site anyways.

CGB is on top of list to be added to Cryptsy as of yesterday morning. They are under siege at present so it could take time.

Coins-e is too lazy to do the getbalance workaround for PoS.

Everything is looking good. Services are under construction, difficulty is up 2000% from 3 days ago (meaning miners are mining).

Subsidy will halve in about 8 days so get them while you can. Take advantage before listing occurs, price will be high and climb.

Better make sure no-one dumps, saving it would keep the value to rise
