I wouldnt worry about people who dump. Happens with all coins. Getting them back will be difficult though.

Btw, difficulty is over 1 for the first time! Keep those miners going!!!

Yeah, the thing with this coin is you can't dump and easily get them back.  Especially once the subsidy halves and difficulty rises.

I would start a thread in this section of the forum announcing your intention: how many you want to buy, what rate, etc. Then I would strongly suggest using the free escrow service that I have paid a bounty to miffman to conduct via this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255593

It is unfortunate, but some will rip you off, so definitely push for escrow unless they are willing to send to your first.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Heeeeelppp!!!
Please write the settings file .conf for solo mining.
Thanks.

Here you go (cryptogenicbullion.conf):

Code:
rpcuser=*your username*
rpcpassword=*your password*
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8395
port=7695
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

And the config for CGMiner, if you want it.

Code:
@echo off
START /NORMAL /B cgminer.exe --scrypt -u *your username* -p *your password* -o localhost:8395 -I 12

Hope that helps Smiley

I don't get any connections Sad

Mac OSX (Snow Leopard)
Client: 1.1.0.0

What to do?
Thanks!

The client has been changed/updated. Please download from OP. Let me know if you still have an issue, you probably are just working with the old one.

I am using Mac Client 1.1.0.0 and I don't get any connections.
Tried the default map port upnp and tried connecting via socks proxy...nothing Sad

I will ask Maxpower to rebuild. Hang tight.

ok, thank you

I have no idea why, but now it works (didn't change anything).

Can I also mine with the client (like the old bitcoin client).
I only have a 2011 MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard.

Would be nice to finally mine something Wink

If someone wants to donate a small amount to play around with, that would be great.

I really like that you support Mac!

Most coins don't bother.

Thanks!

Don't forget difficulty has gone up 3000% since the weekend and CGB has yet to be added to an exchange! If difficulty continues climbing and subsidy halves in 7 days, I do not think an extra card is going to make a difference.
