I want to ask the community if here are some people who are interested in encrypted cloud space.
Most cloud services are hostet in the USA or other PRISM infected countrys.
Some friends of mine and I had the idea for a real encryptet cloud space.
For this we need some other participants to pay for the hosting.
The site will NOT be commercially oriented!
So is something like this interesting for you?
How much space should we offer ?
We will only use bitcoin of course Wink

How do you plan on building this encrypted cloud and for what offerings (colocation,VPS,Dedicated, etc)? Is this going to be hosted in a production facility, or building a new one?

I'm working on a project that might share some goals with yours. It doesn't have a name yet, but here's the most recent thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261025.0

It's a bit long, so I'll just mention the parts that seem relevant to you. The server charges microamounts for each small action, and can therefore accommodate any use a developer could dream up. Information could, of course, be encrypted--it's just a matter of writing that feature into the tools that access the server.
