any chance of making me a customized knife ?
I would like to have a blade made of industrial sapphire , it would be for kitchen use, 3 inch blade, with easy to wash handle, can be plastic
there was a guy in Russia that made them, but I can't get in touch with him...

Afaik it's folded over and over many times. Hence the pattern.

Thanks. The pattern is a swirl damascus. Over 200 layers of high carbon steel, which gives the metal that awesome look. awesome, I ordered.

Awesome. Both your orders (molecular's and Wangdu's) are being shipped out as I speak. yay! really looking forward to it. I've been looking for a knife for quite some time but couldn't get myself to buy one. I kinda looked at #2 and thought: this is the one... don't know why. I had been scanning ebay for knifes... I guess being able to pay with coins made it easier

I guess being able to pay with coins made it easier That is my whole motto. Selling knives for bitcoin only! A unique thing to do with ones BTC as a foreign english speaker I must ask: is it "knife" or "knive"? confused. another question: what's the expected delivery time to europe? Do you have any previous shipping experience? I wonder what you send it as... really appreaciate the low cost of around $10 (I guess, right?). I'm wondering this because many people in the US seem to have problems to get shipping cost of anything below $30. Those unbelievable efficient asians (do they happen to run a functioning free market economy?) ship a product for €0.3 from HongKong to Europe... to my mailbox! I don't know how the f.ck this is possible, but they do. I'm shipping stuff ( casascius coins worldwide, for example) myself so I'm interested in this kind of information.

English isn't my mother tongue aswell but if i remember correctly is "knife" a single one and "knives" 2 or more. another question: what's the expected delivery time to europe? Do you have any previous shipping experience?
Got my pocket knife (a different one than the ones mentioned above) about a week ago and it took just 11 days to germany. I wonder what you send it as... really appreaciate the low cost of around $10 (I guess, right?)
Well the costs were 5$ for shipping without insurance for me.

I had been looking around for a decent damas - not looking hard, just keeping hears open. I decided to give this one a chance, since colin accepts BTC, even though is is "only" 200 layers, and I'm very pleased with the knife.
Also, shipping was perfect, very well wrapped, and taged as "gift" and "Camping/Fishing tools" to slip through customs attention. And it took less than 2 weeks to ship from Clearwater, FL to France.

I received my knife and I love it! Pretty heavy. The edge feels a bit rough from one side (it's quite sharp, though). Do you have any suggestions about grinding (correct word?) it? I'm a noob with knives... couldn't even spell the word 2 weeks ago

Hey, that's great!
If you want to further sharpen it, you can with any conventional sharpening method, ie wetstone.
Just make sure you know what you're doing first (what angle to apply to the blade, etc). YouTube is a great place for all the help you will need.
allright, thanks... also for the knife

allright, thanks... also for the knife You're welcome. Also, damascus edges have a unique purpose. Due to the hundreds of layers of steel, there are micro-serrations in the blade edge which will serve to cut through things like meat very well. You may want to give it a try before sharpening it which might not be necessary. I tried only with tomatoes up until now and am satisfied. Will try on fish next time I catch one
