I am patiently waiting for a large transaction, and the person who sent it apparently sent it with ~90 satoshi/byte fee. I have tried sending another TX to the same address with a larger fee to push the other, but no luck. Are there any other ways to force the TX through? Thanks in advance for the help.

There are many ways to make a transaction speed up and complete it. The simplest thing is to charge the transaction at a higher price than normal and you will be processing your transaction quickly. If you do not want to spend more money on that transaction and want to speed it up you can use this site: viabtc.com

On your end? You have two options: wait patiently, or use an accelerator service. There are free acceleration services in the Services section of the forum if you opt to go that route.

People not using dumb wallets that set 430 sats per byte even though there's a clear area (with low transaction numbers) between 180-430. https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
That would probably help.
