As you known we are blockchain and some technical detail in whitepaper seem don't need to repeat it again, people can find it in bitcoin, zcoin, ....

We have roadmap and voting system ( where everyone can do vote 1 smart = 1 vote )

In a normal hd it take AGES to synch the blockchain, even using the bootstrap.

But with SSD its goes... slow but make progress.

Why? All the other wallets I used sync much faster.

We will improve it in next version of desktop  wallet. With linux base it very fast with windows and Mac we need improve, it depend on network bandwidth power of CPU, O/I speed of your storage

I have downloaded windows wallet and mined Smart cash for couple of days. When I try to check the balance in my wallet, it's still showing as 2 weeks behind. Not sure if I need to add the nodes in the .config file to sync the wallet?

It's been happening for more than a week, appreciate if someone can help on this.

First of all, I wanted thank you all for your patience and support during this exciting time at SmartCash and I wanted to give you all a progress update on the release of 1.1.0.
The team here at SmartCash have been hard at work over the holiday period working on the 1.1.0 release which will enable the much awaited SmartNodes and InstantPay technologies.
Due to the amazing efforts of the development team at SmartCash we have a release candidate build that is currently in test. We expect that all testing planned will conclude by the 8th of January 2018.
We will be releasing the software on the 11th of January 2018. This date is to commemorate the 6-month anniversary of release of SmartCash.
To ensure an easy migration for all our exchanges to 1.1.0 we kindly ask that all exchanges upgrade to the latest software by the 29th of January 2018.
To thank you for all your support we will be releasing the SmartCash SmartNode guide on the 8th of January 2018. This step by step guide will go through the process of setting up a SmartNode from scratch.

What makes smartcash different from other projects?

Example compared SmartCash and Dash

SmartCash (right now)

*Miners: 5%

*SmartRewards: 15%

*SmartHive: 80% (Community Budget: 56% Hive Teams: 24%)

*-> As SmartNodes will go live this month we will see a decrease at the SmartHive percentage.

Dash

*Miners: 45%

*Masternodes: 45%

*Project development: 10%

SmartCash's focuses on the Community way more then Dash does. Right now 56% of the block reward is set apart for community proposals (compared to 10% at Dash). As SmartCash grows we will see great projects (e.g. like the Food Distribution in Venezuela) funded by the Hive-Budget spreading awareness, helping the community grow and having real-world impact.

Dash also has proposals, but only Masternodes are allowed to vote on them. A Masternode requires 1K Dash which is equivalent to 740k US Dollars atm. Of course they are expensive because of the price pump, but their voting system remained the same. At SmartCash every holder has a voice/vote. So not only MasterNodes are able to decide whether a proposal is worth funding or not everyone can.

Thanks for sharing the details. The above link is referring to Mac wallet, but I am using windows wallet to sync. However link is useful and it's taking me to other relevant links to sort out my issue.
