What do you mean by simple or modern language? I'm pretty sure the english grammar hasn't changed in decades. Just write with easy-to-understand english and make sure you don't have grammatical errors. I suggest looking up Wordpress and or blogspot if you don't know how to do any html or web development.

 there are differences in vocabulary and text in centuries to centuries. For an example English which was used in Shakespeare and in now is quite different.
in article writing we use US English.
