Ethereum is so slow

I'm not really informed about Ethereum but I've seen a lot of threads circulating here discussing the Crypto Kitties DApp (decentralized application) that slowed the network down. It might be still the case or maybe even more DApps got released? The attention in the media for Ethereum also could have been  a cause for the slow network as this also results in more traffic on the network.

The main cause to the slow network is the CryptoKitties DApp, this Dapp is responsible for a bit more than 10 % of all transactions!
 

The CryptoKitties DApp also tends to be mined first because there a lot of advises to those who buy these kitties to increase their gas to make sure get theirs. In short, normal gas trades in ethereum will be last in the priority lines because of this, or you just have to compete and increase your gas as well to be mined too.

yes, it was recently that game hampered Ethereum network. but I just heard good news from dev Ethereum on 15 December 2017 - 1 January 2017 they will do the upgrade in the system. I do not know whether the news is true or not, but that would be positive news for Ethereum

If you are not knowing about that and it will better not to spread another crap rumour another person. There will be no hardfork until the next hardfork that already scheduled on Q2 2018.
To continue the metropolis hardfork and ice age will be activated for sure. Even vitalik doesn't mention anything about that.

It became the same as bitcoin is.
You pay more then you are on the first of the line. Before I am just setting it the gas price as 1. This is for shitcoins that I am trading.
Now it wont work anymore. You will need to pay better just so the transaction will be completed. Something like 5 dollars or more. I guess you should set it to 70 or higher.

 This issue is caused by ethereum network congestion in which an apps called crypto kittens are creating trouble in the ethereum blockchain affecting ethereum and token transactions. In order to be save for this delay and very slow transactions you will just need to maximize gas limit like 300000 to 500000 with a gwei of 70 to 90.

thats ok for me for the exchangers for tokens we get from other bounties so we have the final price in ethereum because I drop the ethereum price for sure the exchangers token to earn, but when the price of ethereum for they also lose the tokens they get in campaign bounties.

Ethereum is not slow, it got slow because of that crypto kittes was going on and the more than hundred thousand transaction pending at that time if wanted to have your transaction fast you just have to increase the gas limit and the gas price.

This is very upsetting that one coin can occupy %10 of network communication. There had to be some limitation.

I've been experiencing this in the past days, before almost all my transactions and withdrawals took only 2-5mins before it reflects to my deposit account, withdrawal account. Now i've been getting the delays also 2-3hrs and it is being a nuisance anymore. I don't know the cause of this i am only thinking the reason is because of congested network like in Blockchain but i hope dev will update soon to fix the problem.

I believe ETH's congestion will get better soon. Estimated V will come up with a solution. Otherwise, we are involved in ICO ERC20 TOKEN no way to accept the transfer.

You can check Gas Price for the fastest transactions here. Now Ethereum Network is not so congested as it was last week.
Today I made transaction with 10gas. It's ok.

As others have pointed out just increase your GAS by configuring the settings. Atleast keep it around 32. It worked for me though.

With this single dApp from crytpokitties is the culprit of the network congestion of the Ethereum blockchain and it also indicates that Ethereum can't handle that massive transactions, how much more if there are more something like cryptokitties dApp would come ? can they handle that ? or do they have to upgrade or fix the blockchain, as they already know it would be worst in the future if mass adaption would exist.

These digital cats are the one to blame for this problem that has been coming out in the ethreum network, they have flooded the network which in result is the slow transaction, as long as there are kitties there will be slow down on transaction.
