About Bitcoin fundraising for mining purposes ?

Has anyone tried to raise his funds from others to purchase miners, and the profit split on the heads, how much have raised?
Is there any legal site, which provides something like this?
I have heard that with Antminer L+3 and Antminer S9 can come up to 20$ a day excluding electricity, but is it worth it?
Will wait for some answers?
