I have mined about 10 different coins and have come to the conclusion that something may be wrong. When using CGMiner, a simple restart of the mining application seems to drastically increase the probability of finding a block. I have been testing this out with just a single 7950 GPU and more often than not it works. I can sit and mine on it for hours and find a few blocks, start & restart it a few times consecutively and hit a block in seconds.

I have not done any thorough detailed research but in general a fresh restart seems oddly beneficial.

If there is more information on it, it would seem beneficial to create a looping miner which starts and restarts it for short periods of time.

I have seen only one other person mention this, is there any other threads or information on it?
