there a lot of alt coin in this current world.i prefer bitcoin,eth,ltc,waves,minexcoin.if you hold this coin,you will earn a lot.this coin price will increase a lot within next few years.

I think ethereum, LTC, minex and IOTA are altcoins that deserve to be held in 2018, because the coin value is still quite high. it can be seen from the bitcoin prices at the moment and the next few years

I am quiet surprised nobody mentioned Decred. DCR was one of the biggest mover of this year and has the same potential for next year. The team just become stronger (20+ members) and it will be one of the first coin applying atomic swap with LN. And as a PoW/PoS hybrid, it produce nice passive income for me (along the x50 capital grow so far this year).

My 5 coins to hold in 2018:

1, DCR   - Decred (biggest potential and the most undervalued coin)
2, HLM   - Helium (not public yet)

First two coins are really better coins that I seen According to speedly grow of market but here in my opinion you should think about another altcoins also like Digibyte ( currently available at very low price ) , bitcoin cash , bitcoin gold and bitcoin diamond , Etherium .I have suggested all these coins Because they have very better technology , so if you can buy them today at low price then definitely you will be able to make lots of profit easily by holding them long term .
Here one another sugg to have these coin is that Be careful to make trading with altcoins in this current time because market of bitcoin is not stable , so wait for the drop in price of bitcoin or price stable , so that not much big dump we see in altcoins

If ever i had a chance to hold alt-coins by 2018, Ive seen potentials to these type of alt-coins, here follows, Iota, Litecoins, Monero, Ertherium and Bitcoincash, There are plenty of it found in the coinmarket cap site, but im pretty sure that this currency will brought a good profit:)

I want to add more alts to my positions but the prices now are at all time highs.

NEO is, at least BTC-wise, on a great low to fill your bags... It should only be a matter of time until the volume and the pump kicks in and it find a way higher solid ground.. imo
