Another utter troll/smear thread.

If the OP actually took the time to research, he would have known that one of the options when you purchase a  BFL MiniRig is to have it hosted by a local Kansas data center run by a company called J. Morgan and Associates.

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/showwiki.php?title=FAQ:MiniRig+SC+and+Single+SC+Hosting

What's worse than the OP, are the people that actually get sucked in by this kind of smear thread.

Anyone that bids $100k for a MiniRig has got rocks in their heads, and obviously doesn't need a mining rig, they could spend the $100k on BTC and be better off.

BFL sock puppet to the rescue...

So u know all of this for a fact do you

Morgan & Associates was a collaboration btw Josh and his friend

They had 1 customer when they started Josh !!

So in essence this data centre is NOT a outside 3rd party but just another BFL front...what does that mean who knows but it is not sugar and spice all things nice how you are making out once again sock puppet !

P.S "SUCK IT".... u r a tool

Let's review, with a little (maybe more) smear thrown in for good measure.

Let's assume for sake of argument of this post (only) that BFL is not part of any nefarious activity as it relates to this eBay listing. A stretch, I know, but bear with me.

Fairly recently, BFL announced that there will be no more pick-ups at their facility due to them not being able to handle the workload. Yet, they allocated time to write a postie note, snap pics, download the camera to the computer, upload the images to be sent to the owner of the unit, all prior to taking the unit to the hosting facility owned by Josh, Joe, and Aaron, for that's where the lister states it is now.

As you can see, these fuckturds rewrite their rules daily: no more pick ups, but this unit, along with a second one listed by the same eBayer, CAN be picked up at BF Labs Inc., at the expense of driving to the hosting company, unplugging the bastard, carry it down 26 floors and to the parking garage... etc., etc., etc. But the poor souls who live nearby and has waited over a year gets it stuck up their asses.

BTW, here's another listing selling the same exact unit that can, too, be picked up at BFL: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261244007793

What a bunch of motherfuckin' asswipes!

Another utter troll/smear thread.

BFL hides who is working for them (they don't give out last names or profiles), who is backing the company, what the qualifications of their team are, how many items have shipped, or when customers can expect their merchandise. This thread is not a troll/smear, it is just speculation.

If BFL would take the time to actually put out professional PR, these sorts of speculative threads might not appear. On the other hand, they have lied so many times already it probably is too late to salvage their public relations.

I love how Phinnaeus is so devoid of any actual dirt on BFL that he literally has to make things up in every thread.  The man has absolutely no integrity what so ever.  He steals from Bitcoin100 for his own pocket.  Lies about everything he touches.  He is the very definition of a pathological liar.  You can literally show him that he's incorrect and he'll still maintain that what he says is true.

Bruno... you need meds or something man, you should seek help.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Let's see who's making stuff up now, Josh. I think Rassah, and a myriad of others, will go on record in stating that I never received a single satoshi from Bitcoin 100, nor stole same from any of the kind donors.

BTW, liarface, what's the latest concerning the FCC certification process you promised in two weeks back in November of 2012?

And another BTW, I have a thread up in off-topic inviting BFL to sue my ass. Make sure you pass it on to Sonny right after you wipe his jizz from your chin first thing Monday morning.

Now, if you excuse me, it's getting dark out and I have this barn all scoped out to steal its wood tonight. Right after I hit the watermelon patch owned by a poor little old later who no longer plays the lottery thanks to prior being scammed by Sonny Vleisides during his WorldWager and Laissez Faire City days.

Also, now that you're here, why don't you explain to your loyal customer base why they can no longer pick up at BFL's facility, yet you all seem to have time to help market these two units for some guy in Russia who, BTW, I just shown above paid extra for shipping the rigs to Russia.

FYI, for everybody reading this: Sonny Vleisides' brother/cousin(?) speaks fluent Russian. https://sites.google.com/site/gabrielvleisidesadvisorbio/

The one image used in both listing is not generic. I'm not sure about the pic with the unit on the stool/table, but... http://buttcoin.org/butterfly-labs-mini-rig-is-a-huge-broken-unstable-piece-of-shit

That second eBay (not the one in the OP) seems to being coming across just as legit, albeit I have reservations about both of them.

Whatever you want to call it, they both used it.

Looks like BFL is totally bankrupt and sells his units "in hand" right now for pure cash!!

The ebay articel is in kansas city AND look at the picutre!! Its 100% in the BFL facility.

Look at the pictures. One picture is WITH the nexus and the others are without the nexus. Seems like it didnt work out.

Am I missing something?  Please tell me somebody didn't pay $211 per gigahash.

I've changed the thread title because it's been pretty well established down thread that this isn't BFL's unit, it belongs to a forum member— something some pretty trivial googling could have revealed.

I'm getting a little fed up with Phinnaeus Gage's approach.  I'm super glad that we've got skeptics here keeping people on their toes,  but the shark has been jumped— if you will— so many times now that it's having the opposite effect. The constant over the top allegations have created a sea of disinformation and its actually become hard for people to find or believe genuine concerning information about any of the mining companies. Please stop this BS.

All three of the following eBayers has the above image in their listing. The last listing is the one mentioned in the OP of this thread. pbur4020 tried pawning himself as patric oppose to pete and even uses two different, but similar, skype numbers.

Note the start times of each of the following auctions. pbur4020's clearly started first. According to the revision time stamps of all three actions, NONE revised their images--only descriptions, tos, shipping, etc. If the images were revised it would have shown up. To make sure that that's the case, I checked two different eBay accounts I have access to, and sure enough, time stamps for image revisions are present.

Therefore, pbur4020 was the first to upload the above image to eBay, and for some reason jehu used the same image as his own, for he's the one clearly providing, in no uncertain terms, that he has possession of said unit offering up ALL the images as proof, whereas ubur4020 does state that he's not in possession of his unit.

http://i.ebayimg.com/t/ButterflyLabs-Bitcoin-Miner-BitForce-500-GH-s-Mini-Rig-NOT-PRE-ORDER-/00/s/NDUwWDgwMA==/z/fb4AAMXQrNtR1sMI/$T2eC16FHJHYFFkSuKV1HBR1sMHweSg~~60_3.JPG

Seller : jehu_! (Start: Fri, 12 Jul 2013 00:05:44 GMT) http://www.ebay.com/itm/ButterflyLabs-Bitcoin-Miner-BitForce-500-GH-s-Mini-Rig-NOT-PRE-ORDER-/290944772707?nma=true&si=mAWggEYKpH4g2H7aZLAFESK6gGA%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Without quoting maxwell's post, I'll do my best to take into consideration the concerns expressed with one caveat: my actions shouldn't cost people millions of dollars with the way I may express my concerns, whereas BFL's discontent toward their customer base has the potential of doing such.

Now, let's get to the bottom of this who owns what and is selling it on eBay.

To be clear, the image above is not available anywhere else on the internet with the exception of these eBay listings. Try the image link yourself. I tried to include it here, but it wouldn't format correctly.
