Hello fellows,

This is my first topic here.. hence I apologise if I'm posting it in the wrong forum (I tried my best).

Although, my question might be silly  Cheesy.. I believe many times silly mistakes cause harmful damage..
Thus.. it's better to clear the doubts.

I own some Antminers, and I'm planning to run them setting on their sides for easier wiring and cable management.
I've seen couple of guys on Youtube running them that way.. hence I figured it wouldn't be an issue..

I googled a lot.. not finding an answer..
Why I'm asking is because I noticed some of the units are acting weird..
It might be hardware issue, not related to them being setting on their side.. though. I just want to make sure.

I would really appreciate any help.. especially from people used to run their miners in such position.

Regards..

Setting them on their side should have little effect on anything. You can run them on the side with no issues.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Antminers are renowned for their questionable build quality and not-low hashboard failure rates.
Setting them on their side most likely won't accentuate any of these problems. So feel free to do so.

While I don't personally run mine sideways, there's no technical reason as to why it would cause any damage as long as there's adequare airflow.

no issues doing so.  either your modem of your pool's servers will turn the blocks right side up for free.
