What a fun thread, when Bitcoin price was still $450 and no one really cared much, now it's reached $17K and everyone is like "woah, i should of invested back then"

Many respect to him. He was a great developer who invented PrimeCoin and Peercoin, with lots of interesting features like a mix of proof of work and proof of stake. Maybe this is one of the main reasons Primecoin and Peercoin aren't able to obtain high prices, because he disappeared...

Woah. Talk about effort. Weekly updates for a coin today is hard to come by these days. Either that Sunny King guy was really good at making up updates or that Peercoin was a very active project at the time.

EDIT: did some research and it appears peercoin is still an active coin. maybe sunny king is already rich and enjoying his money in some tropical island.

Jokes aside, Peercoin didn't succeed because it was centralized and inflationary.
Crypto community actually wants the exact opposite: decentralization and deflation.
