Anyone else play EVE Online? If so I'm selling in-game currency at 0.16 BTC for 1 million ISK, which is competitive to the EVE time card rate. (Unless I've forgotten to carry a digit somewhere! If my offer is way off, show me the math and I'll revise )

I have been waiting for a BTC -> ISK exchanger for awhile now. Do you do the reverse? (ISK to BTC?).

I have been waiting for a BTC -> ISK exchanger for awhile now. Do you do the reverse? (ISK to BTC?). Heh, I wish, I'm totally broke in BTC! This is my evil scheme to make a few BTC. Once I have some BTC, I may start trading both ways. I figure there's a number of EVE players in the Bitcoin community given the general economic-oriented mentality of the game.

I remember there were also memberships you could trade. They are called pilot licenses, right? Do you sell those?

I don't sell them, no. They can be bought in-game with in-game currency, they convert into 30 days of playable time. They currently average about 340 million ISK each.

No, it would be ~48 BTC if I am not completely math deficient.

No, I am speaking of the ingame trade-able item that is called a Pilot's license. It is bought in the market and he notified me it is worth around 340 Million ISK.
lucky, could you actually buy gift cards or something like that and offer those instead?

You are right. 0.16 (bitcoin) per 1 million isk would be 0.16 * 340 which is 54.4.

Oh, ok. Hey, it is worth around 16 bucks then. Thanks for pointing out my error. Which is, minor market variations aside, roughly the monthly subscription fee for EVE. Like I said, aiming for competitive rates here.

Sorry for the competition on your post, dingus , but I have way to much ISK and I'll sell for .11 BTC per mISK.

Changing BTC pricing is driving me nuts. I've got plenty of ISK to sell. I'll sell batches of 100mISK for 9BTC. Drop me a message here or at zerbie dot smith at gmail dot com.

This is a great idea but I don't have any bitcoins left. It'd also be nice to have even smaller conversions like say 10mil-50mil of ISKs for some bitcoins (it's possible so why not, right?) Click here to use a currency conversion calculator that I created on InstaCalc. The first row is when you want to convert BitCoins to ISKs, the third row is when you want to convert ISKs to BitCoins. The second and fourth rows are where you determine the exchange rate. I might write a small web application to make it easier to do the exchange (and then maybe have it also pull up the USD, CAD exchange rate numbers from somewhere else).

Somebody should set up a site for game-currency trades, including BTC.
The only problem is how to send the money...

Has this currency hyperinflated zimbabwean style or something ?
