Yep, it has to be like that because many items in the game cost a lot more money and within an hour of playing you can earn 100s of millions of that currency. You're basically printing out a crapload of money

would it be possible to create an automated ISK for Bitcoin exchange using the eve online API?  been thinking about this for a while what do you guys think ?

Since it is illegal to sell ISK, I doubt it would be possible.
