Hi all
im running new antminer s9 from today , and expecting to the second one.
i build some silence box with proper intake but im not so sure about the exhaust.
After running the s9 6 hours , i got 75 - 80c but the box where i hold the miner is pretty hot and im worried to connect the second miner when its come.

I attached sketch of my box , im using 6 INCH Blower with those specs :
power: 40W
voltage: AC220V
frequency: 50Hz
color: white
rotating speed: 2800rpm
https://imgur.com/a/IXPxr
I wonder if the blower strong and fast enough to remove properly the hot air (negative pressure Huh)
What is the optimal exhaust for 2 antminer s9 with duct pipe for 2-3 meters ?

THanks and sorry for my english

What is the CFM of your blower? I am thinking it is not enough.

you can not do 2 s-9's with that setup.

2 s-9's need a 10 inch duct

and this fan

 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Comair-Rotron-CLE2T2-10-455-CFM-1400RPM-Caravel-AC-Cooling-Axial-Fan-020189/132400954128?

pie r 2

so   your six inch  is    3.16 x 3 x 3 =   28 square inches

the s-9 are  3.16 x 2.5 x 2.5 =  19.75 sq inches x 2 = 40 square inches

the fans are super fast   you can not get 40 square inches to squeeze into 28 square inches  and you have 10 feet length  which adds to the problem.

found this 8 inch on eBay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-6-8-Inch-Duct-Booster-Inline-Blower-Fan-Blower-Exhaust-Ducting-Cooling-Vent/111809922919?

8" Booster Fan Spec:

Duct Fan 8" Spec Air Flow - 420 CFM Duct Size - 8": Decibels - 30 (+/- 1.5)
Duct Fan 8" Specs Material - Plastic Fan energy efficient and very quiet; Power - 46 W ; Input Voltage - AC 110v/60Hz 7 ½' length of wire cord

it is a 120 volt  but moves 420 cfm

1 s-9 moves 200 cfm

six inch will do up to 230 or 240

maybe an 8 inch will work   as it says it does 420 cfm
