I just don´t understand the pitiful navigation, service, cloudflaring errors, unavailability of withdrawals... It has taken me 30 minutes to sell some XRP and withdraw some ETH. What are they trying to achieve???

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Kraken can't keep up with the demand, it's as simple as that. That however doesn't mean that they should keep making their users suffer from their own incompetence. Kraken has said to solve all these annoyances in the very short term, but I doubt that they will get rid of the outages completely, which is something Kraken then will definitely pay the price for. In current market circumstances repetitive exchange outages make people lose out big time, which would for me be reason to ditch Kraken. Bitstamp seems to be one of the very few exchanges managing to deliver a reliable trading platform to its users.

Welcome to the Exchanges subforum, where you'll find people making similar complaints about other exchanges as well. Tongue

GDAX has been plagued by constant downtime and API dropout recently, although in my experience, Kraken is even less reliable. The CEO made a statement last month, and it was the typical excuse: "We're victims of our own success." And I'm sure it's true -- more new users and money are pouring into this space than ever before.

Even some of the old standbys like Bitfinex have become unreliable and glitchy. I saw a complaint yesterday on Reddit where a user tried to withdraw USDT. They accidentally charged him a 2BTC withdrawal fee (instead of a 2 USDT fee) and as a result, a bunch of his margin positions were liquidated. Unacceptable, but also no surprise.

Deal with any exchange at your own risk right now.
