Hi,

I have a ledger Nano s and it only stores 4 different types of coins at once.
If I have 6 coins, can I buy another Ledger Nano and split them up between the 2 ledger nanos?

E.g,

First Ledger Nano S has BTC, LTC, ETH
Second Ledger Nano S has XMR, XRP, DOGE

Any issues with this? With syncing, etc.?

Thanks!

You don't need to do this. You can simply uninstall one or more apps on your ledger to free up space, then install apps for the coins you need to use at the moment. When you uninstall apps from your nano s, your private keys for the coins are not lost, since your keys for all the coins come from the key stored on the secure element in your device.

All you have to do is swap out apps to use more coins than you can fit apps on your device, there is no need to buy multiple devices.

Thanks!

It sounds awfully scary to uninstall the app on the ledger haha...
I guess if that's the only way..I'll have to do that.

Also, does the Big Ledger (Big one with screen) support more than 4 coins at a time?
