On hold... For 15 days now. How much I could have profited with that money in crypto these past days....

Instead, it's the exchange that's profiting. This seems to be a very lucrative way to supplement their revenues. They indefinitely and selectively lock accounts and use the balances of those accounts to gain profits simply by trading them based on market conditions.

And they have the audacity to enforce complicated terms and procedures for customers to regain access to these assets. It's legal thievery. Organized fraud.

There should be a way for customers who are enticed or invited to sign up for exchange account to also compel these exchanges to accept their customer's terms and conditions and click an "I accept" button for that. I know it will never happen but come to think of it, why are the exchanges the only ones allowed to have terms and conditions?

16 days. And counting...

Yes, I might not have T&C's, but should have some legal rights. Wonder what options I might have in that regard?

Wow that's terrible. I've never had that issue with Bittrex. They've been really good... so far...

Yeah, I'm sure. I just tried to sign up with them to get some NEM. Unlike Kraken, they are taking responsibility when they see that they're being overloaded with traffic. They've halted new user registrations until they can handle the higher load. That's the way to do it!  Smiley Are you listening Kraken?

My suggestion would be to get verified with the exchanges first then transfer funds/coins in. That way they can't use the "you're not verified" excuse to lock up your funds.

Though I've now since moved to ATMs to my paper wallet personally. Then I can always shapeshift to other coins if needed.

They never did, and I was verified. Paper wallet? Wouldn't it be better to use a hardware wallet?

Hardware is better for security. But paper is free!

Sure. Hardware not worth it unless you're holding enough crypto.

Day 21. Deposit was released and my last Kraken crypto holdings have been withdrawn. That's it for me. I'm done with Kraken! Good luck to the rest of you still stuck in limbo!
