We cannot 100% sure about bitcoin will reach the 20000 USD price point before Christmas. It is not tough and also it is not easy also as the festival season people will sell their bitcoin for their Christmas and new year purchase so it is not possible to achieve who knows bitcoin can do overnight achievement also.

This is just a mere prediction. it is not 100% certain. this days following graph partern doesnt give indication of rise or fall in price of bitcoin. market volatility has made bitcoin very unpredictable just few days ago the coin started going down with alot of news that it will go down to $13k but now its back at $16k plus. to me i feel the price of bitcoin doesnt determine by demand and supply but been influence by group of bitcoin dev. the same dev responsible for hard fork

No guarantee for that bitcoin will reach $20K before Christmas because bitcoin price is highlt volatile and no one knows when it will bump and dump and no use with the graphs because these is no sable movement in the price of bitcoin.But it looks possible with the current price growth but don't know how long the price will rise and it is hard to predict the price for short term.

Yes, I too think that bitcoin will reach the value of 20 k till the end off the year as by looking at its value increase rate it will surely reach a high end value to the end of the year. Bitcoin is becoming famous daily and more people are using it to keep there  money tax free and safe. Bitcoin is also helpful in investing of money and gaining good profit just by holding it. One should freely invest it it now and will get  a sure profit till the end of the year.

So many crazy targets. This scares me a lot. I would prefer a healthy correction of the whole crypto market cap. But seems like this will be skipped and corrections are getting solved faster and faster each time.

This query is same like last year. Many people created a thread last and before that year too. Expectation usually to bump atleast around 500 USD but this year due to big bump in the chart. That will be make some change in the price chart for sure.
Every year in the time of Christmas we use find some bump and this time with the effect of CBOE and Christmas. We will find the good growth in the chart. According to my speculation we can expect the bitcoin price to touch till 20k USD before January 1st.

There's a very good chance that might happen. Many say it was just a mere prediction but bitcoin price is on the rose and it is like 17k dollars now. But I just went through an article just moments before saying there would be bitcoin hard fork on December 15th of this year so, we just have to wait and see whether bitcoin reaches 20k this Christmas or it doesn't. I don't think so that before Christmas bitcoin will reach $20,000. We do have our different desire for the price of bitcoin to increase and if that happens against to what I believe it will be great. But I don't want to expect more for today, other altcoins are pumping too. But if most of the holders on those coins starts to sell and after profiting on it will jump to bitcoin, $20,000 before Christmas or New Year is possible.

Indeed, prices are a bit hard to predict since last week but I am sure that it will not reach twenty thousand dollars by Christmas. Actually, prices were within the normal correction and thinking that it is very calming for holders like me. Giving a mark of stability for a sure value before the year ends.
Christmas is spending a lot. That is why I am expecting a drop and recover before new year.

I can't tell if that's going to be a real thing but there is a chance. And as of now bitcoin is stopped at $17,000 and I think I've seen this pattern before that it will take time slowly with it's movement but after a couple of days it will rise immediately. We did went through a correction and let's just hope that everything goes well until Christmas eve but there's one thing that I'm even more concern today, since the price is really looking good already and its fees is high too.

Op , where is pattern of the graph you were referring to please. One cannot actually tell whether Bitcoin value will finally reach  $20,000 before Christmas or new year. But all the same it is a possibility that is bound to happen at any time soon before end of December this year.

We have got more chances of attaining the quoted price point before the days of Christmas. Another thing that could help in the growth seems to be the altcoins bump that has been taking place with several top listed altcoins. This will let a stable growth unlike other time period where at the time of bitcoin's growth altcoins goes low in value.

I beg to differ, the price point for btc was around 6k beginning of November, but now it's nearly 17k. Which also took a leap from 11k to 15k in less than 2 days. Therefore, 20k from 17k withing next 12 days seems very much possible and I am sure it will be pretty stable.

No one can accurately predict bitcoin's price we'll never know what bitcoin might reach but expect the unexpected from btc especially with it's insane price leap. You also can't base purely in graph pattern cause it doesn't indicate that the price will fall or go up. It's market volatility makes it unpredictable, in the past few days in go down from 15k-13k usd now its recovered from 17k.

We have more chance to reach 20k  before Christmas. Now the price is in increasing mode surely it will increase more and more. Many people now trust and invest in bitcoin will leads the price to increase tremendously.

After the sudden rise of bitcoin this past few weeks I don't think the price would reach $20,000 before christmas. Before next year there could be a chance. This is my speculation because there's a lot of increase that's happening with more opposite reaction now than last month.

If it stays above 15k it's already more than great. It rose too fast lately and a correction is more likely to happen than future growth.
Everybody hopes that the futures listing should decrease the volatility, but I think that the effect will be the opposite for start. After Christmas, or maybe at some point next year Bitcoin should (hopefully) have smaller fluctuations, but until then at least one big decrease should not be a surprise.
