USB Flash Drive storage requirements ? – LITE  Client vs. FULL

1.) client itself ? In gb
2.) wallet .dat file? in gb(mb)
3.) blockchain? in gb (if applicable)
4.) recommended  room for scaling ? (in 5 yrs)  in gb
5.) TOTAL ? in gb

List any clients you  know the requirements of…(multibit, electrum.  Armory, etc.)

For the reference client, blockchain/chainstate/index files are currently around 11.5 GB and the remaining files should be just a few megabytes.

In case you want to estimate future growth, historical values for blockchain size are here:

While no idea is perfect, some ideas are useful.

nearly a hockey stick there!  ...maybe they should get to work on scaling   would 4 gb usb be enough for a Lite client such as Multibit then ,since it doesn't use the whole chain? I assume the client is probably less than half a gig (or less) ,maybe in mb    ...im thinking of downloading multibit or smilar from sourceforge but don't see space requirements and it uses auto downloader from what I remember w no way to precheck size requirements

self answer...will update

downloaded armory to pc just to check ...it was only 13 kb in size w no keys or wallets generated yet and multibit was...... be back - 4 kb and 29,000 kb of blockchain data after syncing w no dat file yet

electrum had no data bcz I said no to opening ports on my firewall when prompted since I wasn't sure if it would manually close the ports on closing...don't want to take the risk since I cant access my router admin page right now to check
