There are lots of website where you can find stats of ICO's. Personally, I'm following the Gilgamesh (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2461878.0), there will be announce ICO soon and they are making big step forward in everything, They have good support system and team as well.

Successful ICO means collect fund successfully or run project successfully? If you meant collect fund, yes, a lot including those scam ICO.

There is a site that is entirely dedicated to showing stats regarding ICOs including how much ROI has been generated since the ICO based on the ICO price of the coin. NXT and IOTA are both pretty big gainers in relation to ICO price right now.

Even though ICOs can be successful, it can't be ignored that there are definitely risks involved in investing in ICOs.

There have been plenty of ICO scams including a recent one called confido, which took investor money and ran. You always have to do your own research and due diligence before you invest in anything since people are really out there for your money these days.

Thank you for all these useful links of statistics of ICO's success. But it would also help if someone would have aggregated these stats - like how much % have reached cap, how many have then fallen below ICO price etc.

Successful ICO that collected much money with their hardcap not really promising big return, because some ICO there are the price of the token down from ICO price. Beside from icostats.com we can see detail statistic of the ICO from chart in coinmarketcap.
