Bitcoin is doomed. It runs off an outdated rudimentary system which requires way too much electricity. It's only a matter of time before it tanks due to a major technical issue. Switch to LITECOIN which is like bitcoin but better with all necessary improvements. Sell off all your BTC and buy LTC cheap while you still can! I realized how shitty bitcoin was last week when my 5k transaction took almost a day and a half to confirm (I still have no idea why). I sold all $35k of my BTC and put 3/4 into litecoin and the other 1/4 into Ethereum and it's so much cleaner and more manageable if that makes any sense. I also just doubled my money with LTC in the last 24 hrs. I advise you do the same ASAP.

I personally can only thank you but I don't think anyone would wait for advise on this before knowing the right time to jump boat from BTC to LTC. I agree that BTC is currently having some challenges but sayijg its doomed because of that, is what I cant phantom because even the alternative you are providing, we are not sure it can stand the current challenges since it has not faced one.

I respect your decision mate but I am holding most of my bitcoins now and just spread some to different altcoins out there. Bitcoin still the base of all them all and that is why I am holding no matter what.

I am still positive with bitcoin and will hold this coin no matter what. Bitcoin are still good coin to hold for, yes its continue to dump but this is just a temporary. Though ETC/ETH are both good I still prefer bitcoin above all.

That is true mate. Those decrease in bitcoin price is but normal but the trend will keep on going on which is going upward. Bitcoin is really the future currency and it is just a matter of time before it will be adopted among with fiat money.

Converting some may be a good idea as many altcoin is showing positive sign but if you’re converting all your BTC to another coin, you may regret it later once BTC break another record.

There is really nothing wrong converting our btc to other altcoins but it should be done in a strategic manner and btc should always be the base currency - meaning, at the end of the day, you will going to convert back to bitcoin and get the profit.

It may better for you to read all of the sentences that have been writing by OP, bitcoin is consuming a lot of energy just to secure the network through a lot of the mining rig. Op was realizing about that.
And then another reason how the block of bitcoin make bitcoin looks like a terrible place to make your transaction. Rather than use bitcoin as a payment and i'd liked to call that as a store value.

Hi mate, I am not addressing to the original write-up of the OP but replying to one who commented on the thread Wink
You are right though about the mining thing of bitcoin about the transaction fees and all that making it less of a utility in nature but just for investment.

And we respect your decision.
But have you seen what is happening with ETH? There have been a heavy traffic with all the transactions.
It is just now the same with bitcoin.
You are offering people to go to that place where it is just the same and needs to pay high amounts of tx fee just so it will be completed.
If you may how much did you input in your tx fee with bitcoin?
Yes its true, instructing others to go away from bitcoin and go to eth/ltc will lead to more transactions in eth and ltc. Litecoin may handle it but I doubt eth would since there is still incoming ethereum platform tokens, it would be much congest than before.

Every thing everywhere is jammed right now. Ethereum transactions are also backed up as well as Bitcoin ones so unless something happens fast to scale both blockchains I don't know how we are going to cope with a new influx of capital coming in unless people start using other blockchains like Stratis, Ardor and Neo and Eos and of course Stellar. I hope something happens soon for all our sanity. Ethereum peeps have to also do something fast. Bitcoin price is also declining gradually which isn't very nice.

Ethereum seems like a good investment but not litecoin. I don't find it as a good investment because of the following reasons.

Since Segwit has recently been included in Bitcoin, the advantages in Litecoin over Bitcoin is reduced.
Litecoin is simply a modified version based on bitcoin. It does not introduce new ideas like other altcoins, which means that the market will surely be harmed if Bitcoin’s scaling issue is solved.

The issue of the low transaction due to the influx of many newcomers and investment to bitcoin is a serious problem which I firmly believe the developers of each cryptocurrency (that to include bitcoin), are doing all of their best to remedy this. This is not a small issue that can just be put aside and soon everything will be well.

Well the lightning network's already here now so let's see in the next few weeks how that will address transaction speed and fees. But if they live up to their promises, bitcoin will have a new breathe of life and it may continue its rise that was halted late december. Eth and ltc are both pretty much like btc for me so instead of converting, i'd rather keep a good number of all of them

For Ethereum, I agree but LTC, I will exercise caution because the founder of litecoin recently divested from the coin making the future of the coin doubtful.

We can't predict the price of crypto currency all time because price is not fixed. For Bitcoin, it the correction time. After few days, it will rise again. Though price of LTC,ETH also low now for buying, you should also hold your Bitcoin. It is not the right decision to convert all the btc in ltc or eth.

What you are saying is a complete nonsense and it shows how little you know about those three coins, and probably crypto in general.
First, as you can probably see now, all the other alts are very correlated to bitcoin. Bitcoin had this dip, and so did all alts. This is true for all alts, but ever more evident with litecoin. Even Charlie Lee claims, that if BTC gets hit, then LTC gets hit harder. To be honest, there is little things LTC can do that BTC can. In fact I don't even remember anything, so you can't say that LTC is more evolved than BTC. The only reason it's faster right now, is because it has less tx on it's network.

You cant really compare ether to BTC as well, since they both serve different purposes. Ethererum is a very nice coin, and it has a lot of potencial but it's not made for payments, and it doesn't aim to be a currency. Ether just wants to serve as a platform for "startups" and investment, so it's not really competing with bitcoin.

As for bitcoin not being an advance coin, just wait for the LN and you will see what it the most secure, private, fast and cheapest coin out there. I would advise you to start buying BTC now, since they are dropping, and you will get them for a decent price.

I really don't think now will be a good time to sell Bitcoin because it has been laying idle for a few weeks now. The price has been going lower and lower with minor pumps. BTC has suffered from the correction and now it is time for it to rise. The Lightning network on the other hand is getting implemented soon as the tests are running successfully and people are able to make transaction over the network. So being this, there is definitely  going to be a spike in Bitcoin's price real soon. May be after the spike when the next correction occurs we might think to sell a little BTC to take the profits.
