The highest value of etherium I know was $ 678.81, so it was never impossible that it will not reach $700 by the end of 2017, since it is growing so fast. As I was typing, it's value is currently $ 617.22

It will hit 1000$ before new year, i am pretty sure because buy order still big and more fork on ETH are coming.

It will reach 1,000$ by the end of 2017. I believe on ethereum, just wait. Since ethereum has many projects, it is easy to reach 1,000$ in just few days. I really love ethereum, much lesser fee compare to the bitcoin.

Like you I also love ether but I can't see it reach to $1000 to close the year and seeing eth constant movement it surging slowly but surely. So yeah we can expect $700 and I'm condfident with that so don't rush things, this $1000 will surely bound to happen so let's just be patient

This will happen any day as ethereum is already above 650$ when i am writing this reply, it can touch 700$ any time. Now the bull run just start for ethereum and it can take ethereum to 1000$ or even higher.

I assume it will reach $900 before the end of the year, since I really didn't expect that it will reach $600 that fast. The last time I look at it's price it is all about $470+ then yesterday it really surprised me. So I won't be surprise anymore when it reaches $900 or even $1000 at new years eve.

In my initial prediction, Ethereum would reach $500 by the end of 2017. As of now, it looks like that it has exceeded my expectations. Could this be due to the CryptoKitties effect? Or more and more people are "panic buying" on Ethereum?

We still have 18 days to go for Ethereum to hit $700, but I would bet it might hit up to $900 before 2018.

I guess 1k is the next realistic big goal since $700 was passed already today. ETH still has a lot of room to grow if you look at its value relative to bitcoin. It has been gradually falling and I don't think that's a fair reflection of ethereums worth.

The price is already $740. It's not so far from $1000 and now this level looks very achievable. But ofc another scenario could happen too. The correction down to $450-500.

Of course it's a big yes for me. Ethereum price today is more than $700 and by the end of december 2017 ethereum will reach up to $1000. Because of it's lowest transaction fees, people now are on the way to invest ethereum more than bitcoin.

Seeing the speed of price growing I can really suppose that the ETH price could become above 1000USD. With the time ETH will stabilize on some price mark but it is hard to predict surely now there.

It must be time to create a new thread speculating when Ether will reach $1000. These things come from nowhere, 4 weeks ago most people would have said it wasn't going to happen, but here we are.

Already today's value of Ethereum is 731$, so by the next year at the end January month it will surge to nearly 1000$ no doubt about that. Ethereum is the fastest growing altcoin with the way of the price increase from the last few months one can predict that it might reach the landmarks of 1000$.
