So that's basically the question. How much of your funds are allocated to BTC, alts and ICOs.

As for me, I keep more than a half in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Then about 30% in other promising alts: Monero, Dash, IOTA, EOS, Litecoin, Cardano, Veritaseum, NEO, Waves, Ark.

And about 5-10% I spend on ICOs. The last ICO I decided to participate is Zabercoin. I think it's gonna be huge. Unique idea, strong team and great advisers who also advised such hype projects like Quantstamp, Polymath and some more.

What do you think of my portfolio, any ideas?

Mine is split about 35% bitcoin, 50% top alts, 15% more speculative long-term stuff. The proportion changes from time to time, but I always keep a fairly large % in Bitcoin and Eth.
Bitcoin is the one you absolutely can't ignore. You have to keep up with Bitcoin news as this has a huge effect on the whole market, and is also needed for trading as most coins come in pairs with BTC (although obviously the ERC20s are also all paired with ETH).

95% of my coin are keep in bitcoin and the remaining are in Ico projects and altcoins. I have to convert all my coins into bitcoin last time when bitcoin was in bullish momentum last month and uptill now I am still holding that. Currently I am keeping some token that I got from twitter and facebook campaign in myeterwallet and I believe one of this day it will still appreciate.

I like your approach of the portfolio separation to BTC, Top coins and ICO. To be honest I have the same system)) 40% in BTC, 40% in alts, 20% for ICO. That is my distribution.

Bitcoins has a larger portion of my portfolio which is about 60%, 25% for altcoins and the rest to buy promising projects when they first go live on the exchanges and get dumped. I have learnt my lesson from Electroneum ICO.

I am keeping my portfolio secret for now as I have seen lots of hack attempt on my few wallet/exchange accounts lately.

I can say I am quite bullish with bitcoin, monero, ethereum, litecoin and ETC.

Buying more CSNO token when others are dumping it.

Not investing in New ICO because it is quite hard to find profitable one.

If I'm going to choose, I would probably do all of them. I mean why limit your capabilities if you know that you can excel on all the fields.

In my opinion Bitcoin and ETH are "MUST HAVE" investments. So, you need to allocate your funds smartly. You should invest in BTC, ETH and several altcoins + choose a perspective ICOs only after you have investigated them properly (team, idea, white paper, perspectives and several other things). Maybe 50% in BTC, ETH, 35% altcoins and 15% ICO. But of course everything depends on your preferences, your aims etc. Anyways, think twice before making a decision, to avoid the mistakes. Good luck

It depends, surely ICO are more risky than investing in bitcoin, but if you do the right research about the project, usally in long or short term you will earn more from your investment in ICO, for example now I'm interested at Gilgamesh Platform, this project has a very good concept truly achievable, and has a good team working on it, and probably I will participate in their ICO, if the Price after the ICO will be lower I will continue to hold the tokens because I believe in team behind the project

You have a balanced portfolio. My portfolio is very similar to yours. Only altcoins I have more- i try to diversify risks! If you participate in ICO-try to collect as much information about ICO, ask here on the forum, otherwise you can run into scammers!

Well , all of them if you can diversify your fiat. Bitcoin is king , alts are profitable soon enough and also there are some absolute amazing ICO's right now.

0% of my fund is allocated to bitcoin
I don't think of investing in any ico now or in the future
Those promising ones are about to crash you can buy later
If I were you, I would invest in very undervalued coins like OAX or good coins that don't get attention much.

Of course that they are a good way to duply your money, but that is very risky too.

It is the same as i posted before, it depends on how much money do you have in total.

If you have $10000, 25% is a lot, because it is more than $2500.. But if you have just $1000 on your balance,
25% is nothing, just $250.

It depends a lot, so it depends on how much money you have invested in total. But let me tell you that a twenty five percent just in Ico's, is a very, but very risky move.

Diversify is the best solution and i have half of portfolio in btc, 25% in ethereum and other 25% on ICOs: I bet on ICOs because there are more possibility to multiply my portfolio.

I dont think that you can establish some exact rule for the portofolio. You should be elastic and adapt to the market.
For me is like this: first i invest monthly from my salary 5%-10% (depends on my expenses), then i put my money in ETP or ETC (yeah no BITCOIN).
Another thing i invest in a ICO a month (only one) and ussualy the ICO that i participate in the bounty. Meanwhile i increase my portofolio with the tokens from the previous ICO and once listed i sell 20-30% from them to make money for my next ICO.
It is a bit complicated to explain but this is the way i increase my portofolio and keep investing in new exciting project. This works for me and till now i dont regret this strategy.

Hey, man! What a balanced portfolio. You can be sure about great earnings in long-term, with minimum risks.

ICOs are extremely risky to invest nowadays. And it's tough to find unique or just real projects in many of them.

Lust few days I heard a lot about ZAB coin, I've made my research and found this one - http://zabercoin.io/? They have some fantastic features in WP and good member board in my view

Are we talking about the same project?

I think you should invest in all 3, and divide the amount you want to spend on each on.

But go long term with each one for good profit.

At this time most of my holdings are in bitcoin. Actually I have always been a fairly conservative investor, so I hardly invest in ICOs.

Nowadays 60% bitcoin, 20% ethereum and another 20% in a lot of altcoins is my way of spreading my risks through a conservative but profitable portfolio in a medium term investment horizon.

Spliting your investment into Bitcoins, altcoins and ICOs is probably te wiser thing to do. Bitcoins already proved to be a solid choice and we still can not say the same about some altcoins and ICOs, also taking into account so many scams these days. I this forum I found about AppCoins, an ETH based altcoin for the app industry. They are backed by Aptoide, a 200 million user app store and just started an ICO. Maybe you could take a look on the project an see if it appeals to you.
