The worst quality import .22LR Lead ammo, is going for $50 for 500.

I did find some CCI minimags for $15 for 100, maybe 3 months ago

All normal stores, by me have been sold out within 1-6 hrs after they get it in stock.

Are you required by Law to use Lead Free Ammo? If so can you legally purchase ammo from out of state?

i may have some boxes of Remington 550 that predate 2011. The recent stuff is garbage, these boxes haven't given me any problem.

You should check out http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/22lr . It constantly updates the available ammo for whatever caliber on tons of online ammo sales sites. i picked up 200 hp and sp cci mnimags this morning on sportsman's warehouse for $7.99/100box. The only bad part is the sites often impose a limit (was 2 boxes per caliber per week on that site this am).

Forgot to add: Best times i've found to catch the ammo are early mornings on that site. Usually sells quick. Also don't forget to check cabelas online. I've found some bulk packs for sale there with no restrictions, and shipping was only 5.95 + 3 ammo handling fee up to 60 pounds.
