CBOE and CME are about to launch Ethereum and Litecoin futures
After the debut of bitcoin futures contracts on CBOE exchange, both Chicago-based major derivatives platforms, the CBOE and the CME Group, are preparing to launch Ethereum and Litecoin futures.
According to the sources close to the top management of the exchanges, the launch of both contracts is imminent, the media reports.
It’s quite possible, that their launch was planned ahead and Bitcoin futures was just a test bed for the deployment of more cryptoderivatives...
