Hey guys.

Newbie to the forum here... :3

I've been wanting to invest in Bitcoin since the 3k$ mark. But I just haven't had the time, yes I know it was a big mistake waiting...
But I have about 4000$ to invest into Bitcoin (It's currently sitting with shares, will take a few days to pull out), I was wondering is it too late to invest it? Will it still grow? Will we see a big drop/crash soon?

Our resident guru, Masterluc, is looking for a correction to the $10k area. He's been pretty accurate in his years of analysis. But either way, I'm pretty sure this going higher eventually. No signs of a blow-off top yet, which actually means there's still lots of gains to be made in altcoins.

I'm happy with Bitcoin, alt coins are too unstable for me in my opinion, and they have a much higher risk than Bitcoin.
Is it too late to invest?

My method for crypto allocation is 80-90% BTC cold storage, 5-10% altcoins, and any remainder in my BitMex account, for short-term scalping. There's so much money to be made scalping these markets, especially the big cap altcoins. Low caps are more about holding through thick and thin until they bubble....

nope it is not too late bro you can still invest now because if you're looking for a long term then right now is still the best time to invest but if you are looking for a short term investment then you should wait till the price crash again.

ABSOLUTELY NOT the train is still sitting at the station. Bitcoin along with other cryptos are still in their very early stages and not yet “accepted” by the majority of society. Think about it, if you were to walk outside and ask a 10 people if they knew anything about bitcoin the answer would most likely be no and if they do know what it is they don’t know much about it if anything at all.

invest money that you can afford to lose.

You have to understand that the market is really in a state where people are getting too greedy right now, but you have to consider all your options and do not end up seeing bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme since you are so much particular about the profit. If you want to get in on the ride now, no doubt, you can just do so. The most important thing is that you are going to be a part of the future and do not panic really when you see the value going down because it MIGHT. If I were you, I will buy me some little now depending on the cash you have anyway and wait for the possibility of any dip and then buy more. However, if you are so keen on the profit, you may not be patient enough to be a part of the future for too long.

You will be asking same question again in near future if you don't decide to invest now.Take a decision now and invest in bitcoin(not more then you can afford to lose).I am sure if you keep hodling your bitcoins long term you will earn a decent profit. It's never late to invest in bitcoin. 17K price is still undervalued in bitcoin.I am pretty sure one day a single bitcoin will be worth a million dollars. It's still only 8 years since bitcoin was created and we are still in early years of bitcoin. So it's not late to invest in bitcoin now Smiley

Bitcoin is always good choice for longterm investment but you should diversify your risk and put some money on altcoins. Its never late always.

We are at the begin of the mania phase in my books.
- Institutional Investors [CHECK]
- Media Attention [CHECK]
- Public [CHECK]
- Enthusiasm [CHECK]
- Greed [Coming]
- Delusion [Nope]

So plenty of room for growth  Cool

to be honest i do not think we're moving like that chart,
because that chart only works for Bubble assets and in my opinion Bitcoin is far from Bubble,at least it's not the bubble at this moment.
lately we're seeing a lot of massive run due to japanese positive move and also other news that we're currently waiting for.

it's never late to invest our money into it because it still has a lot of room to grow in the future.
it has not implemented yet fully in our life but the demand ridiculously high,
which mean whenever it started to do it and successfully implement it,does not that mean the price will increase a lot in the future?

Fair point but I do believe the public and investors entering the game will cause a "gold rush" before we stabilize.
Everyone at my work is buying hardware wallets, buying altcoins, doing crypt... all with $$$$$ in their eye....

So a bubble and a wither down to stability is my guess.

Bitcoin is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get !!

I have answered about the same subject multiple times that never is late to invest in Bitcoin. look at current trends, demand for Bitcoin is a huge property. Also like them, and of course the great demand, the price will increase. the important thing is that you have to accept the risk when investing in it

Make me great again

The wait was not at lost, you've made your justifications, most of us here are afraid to lose our money. Investing on something that you are probably sure of is what we call taking the risk and putting the fears aside. Since you have already got your capital back, why not withdarw it to fiat and leave all your money in digital currencies for you to ease your worries. If you have lots to spare so, then you should probably wait for it to burs more even further.

We are glad that you are happy with Bitcoin's price progress. Altcoins are not just the ones stable here, even Bitcoin can fall down even just for a minute, but as wee see it's far from doing so and most of the whales are manipulating it. You could probably invest in altcoins even just a little, it's better to have a reserved than to have nothing at all.

Always be optimistic when it comes to bitcoin.
I have my own regrets and it was a lot of time that I didnt do it just because I am still waiting for a drop. Even when it took just a $1k price, I hoped or did thought that it is gonna go back to $400 a piece.
But this now, it just took a little time and it is so far away with the price.
Now, I have this kind of thinking that there is no late when it comes to investing with bitcoin.

In my opinion, Maybe this is the best period of time to invest because it's expected that the value of bitcoin will progress quickly. Besides of that investment is very profitable, though that maybe there's some deflation to earning money, but surely There will always be gaining.
Otherwise, you must try the investment to know these advantages.

To be honest, I'm a big believer in Bitcoin and I don't mind the bubble chart. The only problem I have with it is that it appears to be linear scale, which isn't realistic as its movement doesn't account for changes in price.

The cycle is spot on, though. It's much like a Wyckoff cycle. Accumulation --> Markup --> Distribution --> Markdown --> Return to long term trend (chances are it will continue). It even says "Return to the mean" which isn't really indicative of a bubble. It's indicative of price volatility that has far outpaced the long-term MAs. Eventually price always returns to the long term moving averages. But you might be waiting a while, and the price will be higher once it finally intersects with them.

It's impossible to completely ignore Bitcoin these times with the media reporting non stop about Bitcoin. If you don't trust yourself and have to force yourself to forget about it, which most of the times doesn't work at all, especially in current times as I mentioned before, you are better off not buying anything at all. Investing in Bitcoin should be a joy and exciting at the same time, and not something that makes you suffer and lose a lot of sleep over. It's a great opportunity for everyone, but most of the people make it unnecessarily difficult for themselves. I have seen articles already pop up stating that people put themselves in debt by taking out mortgages to invest these funds into Bitcoin, which is ridiculous.

It is never late to invest, but as soon as somebody gives you an advice to what to do with your money - you most likely got found a fraud, dont listen to advisers.

There us the possibility that bitcoin in n will decrease but it doesn't mean that are now late investing with bitcoin. You know if there will be a craving happen then all you need to do is to have patience in waiting until bitcoin pump again. And that is the key to every libraries rather than courageous and wise.
